I had an empowering birth experience because of the three breathing techniques I learned during this course. I used the relaxing breath to relax, the surge breath to handle the contractions and the crowning breath to have the baby crown. Melissa calls contractions surges. While doing surge breathing during my contractions i exhaled deeply when the surge" or "contraction" was over and I felt high. Natural oxytocin flooded my blood stream and I felt on top of the world! By breathing in deeply during the "surge" I also dilated faster. The difference between a hypnobub mom and someone with no training is a hypnobub mom breathes oxygen into the uterus and helps guide the baby and the pace of the birth with breath. I had an all natural birth in two and a half hours! It was beautiful.Hannah"

This online course is not for everyone. I really, really tried to push through the content but sadly found Melissa so annoying and condescending. The whole time it is like she is explaining things to a child and her jokes are so cringey and she comes across very fake. It's hours of staring at someone talking at you with dodgy pixelated images and PowerPoint slides inserted every now and again. It's not worth the $200 price tag and is genuinely challenging to get through even if you have the right attitude. I wish could just get my money back, I tried but got no response. I think the online course could do with a major update and some insights into modern adult learning. We are about to become mothers and don't need to be spoken to like kindergarten children.

I used Hypnobubs in the preparation for my second child and the difference between my first birth and my second is night and day. I went into my second birth feeling prepared and empowered and I knew that my husband was truly prepared to be my birth partner. The videos and coaching got me to term, the support from other mamas on the Facebook page got me through a 10 day early labor and the hypnosis tracks literally had me asleep the first half of the night and I woke up 1.5 hours from my babes arrival. I cannot say enough good things about Melissa and this education. I have never felt stronger than I did while birthing my sweet boy and after that experience I can honestly say I would give birth 100 more times (if it weren’t for all the sleepless nights that come after).

I was able to relax through my contractions without needing any epidural, it’s amazing. My friends and family were all amazed by how fast and smooth my birth was. I’ll definitely keep up with it for future pregnancies.

I purchased the hypnobubs guide in 2020 when i had my 2nd baby - first birth was fairly traumatic and being in the middle of covid i wanted to take back some control of my 2nd birth. It was the most incredible, empowering birth & im so grateful for learning all the powerful tools in Melissa's course

The Hypnobirthing course was incredibly empowering! It enabled me to process and eliminate my fears around birth and gave me the knowledge, tools and power to have a drug free, natural birth! (and was the last person who you would have thought would opt for a natural birth!). The meditation tracks kept me so present throughout my first birth, I cannot wait to do it all again in 2022!

I purchased the online course back in 2020 for the birth of my first child due to most antenatal classes being cancelled due to the start of the covid pandemic. It was the best decision I could've made to prepare myself. I went into the birthing experience feeling empowered, confident and with zero anxiety. I've been able to apply the same skills as a mother to a now 2yo to help keep a cool head during the tantrums! I really did have a dream birth experience and zero pain because I was so relaxed. I slept through most of my labour as our birth suite resembled a day spa with the super relaxing atmosphere. I've recommended this course to so many friends because it really did set me up to have an enjoyable birth experience.

I did the online course for my first birth and then rewatched parts of it as a refresher for my second. I highly recommend undertaking the course. It gives your great breathing techniques amongst other educational information I used throughout both births. Would 100% recommend to any friend.

I took the Hypnobirthing online course because the thought of labour petrified me and I needed something to allay my anxiety. It certainly did that! The information provided and relaxation strategies enabled me to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy, look forward to birthing and best of all, enjoy a calm and beautiful birth in spite of serious medical complications. The hospital staff were overwhelmingly supportive of hypnobirthing also. I am so grateful for this experience.

I can’t speak highly enough of the Hypnobubs Online course. We loved this option as my husband and I could watch the videos and read the content from the comfort of our home, especially in the final weeks before giving birth when I just really wanted to stay home and be comfortable. I love love love the focus of the course and truly believe that what I learned supported me to have a more peaceful birth journey.
