Friendly, clean and adequate for a traveler. Food? What can I say, massive size evening meal and so, so good. Breakfast equally substantial and a wonderful meal prior heading off. Definitely where I will stay when in Charters Towers again.

What a truly lovely experience. Well size clean modern room with all amenities. We felt so welcomed. The owner also cooked us the most delicious home cooked meal. What a treat after such a long day on the road. Thank you so much

Country Road Motel
Another day of travelling from Springsure to Charters Towers (544.9 klms), I turned into the Country Road Motel. The service was great ,had a good conversation, dog friendly and a nice room. It had two bedside tables with lamps and two comfortable lounge chairs that made it very relaxing. The motel also had a swimming pool, laundry and car cover. I recommended this motel to anyone!

Called close to midnight for a last minute room. After hours picked up straight away, was happy to offer us a room so late in the night. Room was clean and had all amenities needed including a microwave. Friendly and accommodating customer service. Very happy with overall experience. 5 stars!

Room is quite comfortable, nothing fancy. The bathroom is clean and recently renovated. Impressed by the shelving for bags and cases as it fits a lot. There is a pool and guest laundry. Quite close to a busy road but it was quiet during the night. Bedding is comfortable. Location is central to most attractions in the Towers.

Great place to stay and nothing is a trouble. Comfortable and clean.Arrived around 8 pm and the owner went out of his way to help me with a meal, as I didnt feel like going up town to find a meal.

A good experience, but nothing great. The hotel was a bit old and run down, and quite cold aesthetically, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The lady at the counter was a bit weird, didn't seem to know what was going on. There was no restaurant or eating facilities, but that allowed you to explore the town, so I didn't mind. Overall the hotel did what I needed, which was a room for the night, bit it didn't do anything more than that.
