I took my artwork here because I wanted to support 'the little guy's amongst the more renown framers in the area. Upon receiving my framed work, everything initially looked fine. After a few weeks though, the art paper I used started to buckle and warp under the mount. Not just a little, a lot. I took them to another framer who works with fine art who said he would remove the work from the frame and double mount, place it between heavy glass to flatten it for a few months in the hope of regaining the integrity of the paper. No guarantees though as paper has memory and often can't be completely dewarped. I left it with him and a few weeks later he called saying he didn't know what glue was used to adhere it to the board but it was not archival quality and should never have been used on that paper because as that glue dried, it slowly puckered the paper. That glue had been used all around the edges instead of archival tape in certain places to minimize distortion. Any fine art framing or mounting is supposed to be reversible and ph neutral. This was devastating to me. I had to spend even more money to save the art and remount and frame. 3 months under weighted glass got a lot of the paper integrity back but I could never sell that art and not make a loss. Make of this review what you will, but I would not recommend for fine art paper framing.
