Poplar Caravan Park

Owners, Brett and Amanda are fabulous, went out of their way to help in anyway possible. They were very friendly and welcoming. Brett is a brickie by trade but boy, he cooks up a mean meal. Hamburgers so big you can't hold them and so flavoursome, absolutely yum.Bonus wifi was really great, I was even able to do a zoom conference call with no dropouts.Brett and Amanda thank you for a great couple of days and we will definately be back.

We stopped here in a cabin overnight. I would not stay here again. I don't mind staying in old and dated cabins. This was rundown and smelly, I think the smell could have been coming from the lino that was in the bottom of the shower. Old worn out and faded sheets and a very loose entry door handle. Not worth the amount charged.

We stayed at the cabin for a night, what a nightmare. The cabin is very old and small, and it smells gross. There are no blankets for the kids bed. I went in for shower after the kids, then the hot water ran out. It was freezing cold to have a cold shower. We asked the staff at the reception and he said we used too much hot water. Anyway, He gave us a key to use the shower facility in the caravan park (what’s the point of ensuit cabin?) Never come back this place.

Lovely caravan park, not expensive, clean amenities and the BEST fish & calamari I have ever tasted. They have a small cafe which serves hot meals so no need to cook. That deserves 5 stars!!

Very cheap. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. The meals were cooked to perfection and they were massive value for money. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend

(Conditions apply)Spotless amenities with a handy equipped camp kitchen.The owners Brett and Amanda are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating.Can accommodate from large to small camper needs or fully equipped onsite cabins.Harry's fish shack located on premises have the best fish/chips and the most delicious burgers in town.And the little craft and makers shop is a great place to pick up a little momento. Handmade pottery is very unique and beautifully done.Conveniently located to town.Great place to relax have a drink and enjoy the amazing sunsets.Highly recommend for a night stop or a base to see the sights around town.

Great park close to town with clean amenities and friendly owners but that's just a small part of the story. The cafe/restaurant that is part of this park is amazing. The Sirlion I had will now be the benchmark by which I judge any other steak. My partner had the lamb cutlets served with mash n veg and also were amazing! Large portions and cooked with love. Well done Brett and team.

PLEASE FIX your dripping tap in the kitchen! I really hate dripping taps. It wastes water and is very annoying!! It's a simple replacement of washers. Everything else was okay. Comfortable bed and a good shower.
