Home was built brilliantly, with quality and attention to detail.Stannard homes is a family builder, take pride in their work and have good advice and experience to give you.Its hard to find someone you can trust, but from start to finish we felt we could just trust them... and what they say, their pricing and honesty. Hard to come by in building world!Ps. we looked at about 4-5 designs, and Dean's design was by far the most amazing, functional and just plain RIGHT!

After 12 months of going through the ringer with a large project builder and encountering multiple issues throughout the planning process, we had enough and decided to switch to Stannard Homes.The contrast could not have been any greater, as we enjoyed a smooth and positive experience throughout the planning and build. The quality of finishes and workmanship was of a very high standard, and even the independent building inspector I hired for each stage of the build remarked on how happy they were with the finished product!Would happily recommend them to anyone looking to build.

We have been delighted with Peter Stannard Homes. We built with them a few years ago now and during the process and years later whenever I have contacted them for information, I have found them to always go above and beyond. Their quality and attention to detail we found very reassuring and they never took any shortcuts. Years later I still contact them to ask for information and they have each time been friendly and go out of their way to assist.

We are currently building a home with Stannard Group and at this point we can not fault them. From the start of our building process every person that we have dealt with has been extremely helpful, patient, professional and efficient. Dean and Anette are our Design Consultants and have continued to assist us in planning our perfect home plus anything else we have needed along the way! They are both amazing. We were also given so much guidance from an exceptional interior designer before commencing. Peter Stannard personally introduced himself and took the time to talk to us about our home. We have had numerous positive comments from people who have had a look at our build so far, especially regarding the quality of the trades. We highly recommend Stannard Group for building your perfect home. Would not build with anyone else!

Might be a Big name but unfortunately low value for clients.I wanted to build 2 story custom design home with Stannards & clearly mentioned what we wanted in it. We were asked to pay deposit to get final custom plan but then was pushed to settle with what they were offering with a big cost too which was not what we wanted.What they couldn’t do, I got it done with another builder without paying anything at all until we got what we wanted in the plan.The Stannards refused to return the deposit as well, so make sure you get the right plan before you pay anything if you still want to build with them which I wouldn’t recommend.

We are building with Stannard Homes (SH) and have had a fantastic experience! We started our SH journey with Dean and Annette, our Design Consultants. We could not speak highly enough of them. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience which has been invaluable in creating our custom design home. Dean and Annette have spent so much time getting to know our family and what we would need in a home. Dean has always been so patient with us, extremely helpful every step of the way and made sure our vision of our dream home was made a reality. We love that Dean and Annette still keep in touch and are just as excited for the build as we are. It has been a smooth and easy process so far and a great experience building our first home. We can’t wait to move in!

Overall, we were very happy with the design, planning and building process with Peter Stannard Homes. The trades employed by the Company were generally of a very high standard and our supervisor was excellent. We built a custom designed home, so didn't see a display of the home first, which meant there were a couple of things we would have changed in the design. eg a section of roof and gutter that fills with leaves but is very difficult to access for cleaning purposes. We would have liked a bit more consultation with the kitchen design, but it's still a great kitchen.We had a few issues with the electrical contractor used by Stannards, but otherwise, any other problems or defects were fixed promptly and without fuss.We have built and renovated many homes, as owner builders, with small builders and with other project builders, but Peter Stannard Homes rates highly in our opinion.

Building our second home with the Stannard Group and could not fault the service. Quality of workmanship far exceeds the industry average.The design team are very experienced, more so than other companies and are able to walk you through council, structural and siteworks issues from the outset to ensure there are no hidden surprises.Given it is a family company you get to meet the whole team and can see why they have been around for so long, there is no cost-cutting or short cuts taken and while you don't get the cheapest build you get a high-quality product for a fair price. So far our build is 2 months ahead of schedule.

Super satisfied with the entire experience. In these challenging economic times, we decided to select Peter Stannard Homes because they had a great reputation and over 50+ years of experience. We're proud to say that they have delivered. The whole building process was extremely foreign to me - we were amazed at the sheer number of tasks and moving parts involved where anything can go wrong. Despite that, our home was built within 12 months (pretty amazing considering its a large double storey home), and during the final inspection, the house was close to flawless - just a few speckle of paint touch ups required here and there which they have fixed within a day. From our experience, we definitely recommend Stannard Group to be your builder of choice!

Our new home is well on the way and we have been extremely happy with Peter Stanard Homes! We love driving past and seeing the progress as the house really starts taking shape. Dean and Anette are our design consultants and they have been fantastic - they helped us through every aspect of the design and even now the house is being built they keep in touch and updated which is a nice touch! We love the Cape Mill design and the inclusions that come with a Peter Stanard Home and that was a huge deciding factor for choosing our builder.
