Absolutely disgusting! Smelled and when we told manager they said yes it's really bad" and walked out and did nothing. We checked and it was the broken seal on the toilet pipe with "waste" all over it. Shower had urine stains on the silicon. Mold in the apartment. Power point fallen out the wall exposing wires. The list goes on. Also only 1 glass in whole apartment

Do NOT recommend staying here ! We stayed for 8 days and our oven didn’t work (wasting all the frozen food we bought), our aircon didn’t work (it was 30°c everyday), the staff had workers in our room almost everyday “fixing” things but they were just ripping stuff off our walls making a ridiculous amount of noise (I have a 10 month old and told them she was sleeping and I cannot have people in the room), someone came to fix the aircon on our last day and dropped it on our TV (luckily my partner ran over and caught it and had to help the guy install it before he caused anymore damage), there was a ridiculous amount of cockroaches, the corners of every room were filled with food and dirt from previous people and the broom was that stiff and mouldy it made the floors dirtier when swept (I had to shower my baby every-time she crawled on the floors as her legs would come up black and our bathroom door was broken and would not close, no spare toilet paper, shampoo etc, the place had a really foul odour, no elevators so we had to carry a pram with a baby in it up flights of stairs everyday even though we asked for a room on the floor level. When we confronted the staff about all of these issues they said they would fix it and reimburse us for all the issues, we have been contacting them for weeks and all we get is “I’m waiting for my managers response”. I would never stay here again and I would never recommend it to anyone. Seriously disgusting !

a shame!with my boyfriend we paid for a week, we needed accommodation quickly because we work here, so we booked one more week (paying the deposit only for the 2nd week).5 days before we explained our situation (we are young, it is too expensive for us) we found cheaper, I asked them if it was possible to refund the deposit, listen carefully: the woman at the reception asks to his/her manager who says that if there is a direct reservation after us, it is possible; otherwise no (which we understand).when leaving I check if our room is free on booking (no: so we can get a refund) the gentleman who had welcomed us at the start, did not even say hello to me for check out, told me that the refund was not It is not possible, that the woman before him having said the opposite, that it was completely false (insinuating that I am a liar) ..I'm young, I come from France, I've been in Australia for almost 2 years, I never have a problem (it's been 1 week I'm at the gold coast I already have 2 jobs)I'm serious, here to improve my English, discover a culture and met a people. I am open-minded, positive. and I hate to make comments like that.but let's be human, I need these money to live, knowing that we all know that these coins he CAN give them back to me, it's just that he doesn't want to.in addition to all this, the apartment is dirty, with cockroaches, the light did not work in the living room, the dryer either, no wifi, and there is a building under construction right next to it so very noisy .. being called a quiet" place

I wouldn’t recommend staying here.Bed bugs, dead cockroaches in room upon arrival, crusty curtains with sticky backing and black mould on the window sills and quite literally falling apart. Clearly the room had not been cleaned for quite some time/months and not as regularly as it should be. Photos on advertisements not a clear representation of accomodation maybe from the previous owners or back in the early 2000s. Not to mention there is no lift and is located right next to a construction site so far from relaxing (will take years to complete the development) be prepared for early construction every day including weekends. Very disappointed, could get far better value for money elsewhere. Customer service needs to be better for after hours customers and in general and communication as there’s a language barrier. Overall I would advise to avoid. The place is filthy, tired and clearly the owners need to put more money into it. Incredibly unhygienic. The plumbing issues in the bathrooms are so bad it almost made me vomit. Definitely NOT a four star hotel. All the reviews are repeating and saying the same thing. If I could I would have booked elsewhere.

Great 1 bedroom, very close 10 mins walk to main street of Surfer Paradise where all bars and restaurant are and still quite in a residential area accros the bridge in Chevron island.(+): location, apart is spacious, super clean with bedroom, living room, balcony separated. New carpet and new furnitures. Great price compared to others in area.(-): need to pay for internet. Next to construction which a bit noisy during the week. If u go to sleep or just wkend then fine. Only small swimming pool, no sauna or gym

Pros:- location is amazing!!! we were here for a week and mainly walked everywhere- quiet environmentCons:- no amenities (no spare toilet paper, had to buy a whole bottle of laundry detergent, no extra bin bags, no basic kitchen items like salt and pepper)- unpleasant odour- unusable wifi… while booking it said there was wifi, great! but later found out it said we had to pay $5 a day which i am willing to pay if it’s decent wifi. But once we got there i was told it was free but it was totally unusable wifi, it did not work whatsoever.- mould around the apartment- cockroaches!!! in toilet and even the bed!- see-through blinds that barely blocked out the sun. we had to buy eye masks so we could sleep in past 6:30-7amAll in all, we knew it was a cheap stay and our expectations weren’t too high. However, providing a clean place isn’t too hard. When we left the apartment we cleaned it up to ensure we receive our deposit and we almost felt it was cleaner compared to when we arrived. We had a good time just disappointed with the accommodation.

The unit had a foul smell of stale cigarette smoke causing an unbearable stench throughout the whole unit. Unit not cleaned properly, a pair of dirty socks behind the curtains and an empty bottle of bourbon in the cupboard left over from last person. Holes in the curtains, chipped kitchen cabinet, broken clothes rake, filthy plates and cups. Missing dish liquid, no shampoo or conditioner provided, wi-fi not free. Thermostat in fridge removed so food contents were not cold. We checked out early because could not take the smell any longer. Location was the only positive. Way overpriced for budget accommodation.

Front desk service was exceptional. The apartment was clean and well maintained however, due to the age of the building, some wear and tear was visible. Excellent value for money.
