The oil was horrible.Was hungry so ate our meal anyway. That night we both felt sick. The prawn chips also tasted like they were cooked in bad oil. It was a shame because the chicken looked decent but was ruined by the oil. Won't be going back again, ever.I almost felt like going to hospital just in case it was poisiness.

First time dining there after the recent changed of ownership, I was surprised how packed it was at lunch. And very happy with our dishes, fresh and plentiful and cleanline presentation. Would surely come back again and do more tastings, 1st go today predicted likely be the best among other Chinese restaurants in town, as long as it can keep the msg a light touch.Highly recommended.

This place was just amazing all the other Chinese restaurants are not good but this one was the best in the whole area of Port Macquarie I would say go here it right next to coles not something you see everywhere but it was such a welcoming feeling friendly staff even though they were busy they went out of there way to help you as the best as they could the person that was on front counter very lovely person very nice customer service the food yum fried rice so nice 10/10 and the satay sticks they are so good I recommend them and the spring rolls they were just beautiful nice and cashew beef lots of veggies and cashews it was mouth watering and the service was fast for bringing out food it was so quick I say this is the best restaurant better then the other ones so if you’re looking for Chinese go here it’s worth your money the food is steaming hot it’s just 10/10

Heard all the great reviews so Ordered just the basics to give them a try. Fried rice, small container of sweet-and-sour sauce, short soup, plain omelette. Omelette was very nice, short soup as well, my only complaint was the Fried Rice was the worst I have had, it was so bland, They forgot to add the sweet-and-sour sauce so had to drive back to get it but compensated us by giving a bag of prawn chips, which they didn’t have to do and was very much appreciated.Staff were very nice, premises very clean. Waiting time zero, was ready on my arrival.

Tried the Palace for the first time calling in a takeaway order. My order was taken by a lovely lady and no hassles when my husband picked up the order. Must say it was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time, anywhere. We had, among others, the seafood basket and the the dish was fresh and very generous servings of fish and large prawns. Will definitely try dining in next time.

Generous portions and nice and saucy. I asked for a small amount of salt and they were happy to oblige. Very satisfied. If you’re looking for a no frills dining experience in a quite beautiful setting where I guarantee you won’t leave the table feeling hungry this is it!

We always believed that the best Chinese restaurant is in Bundaberg. We now know different. The lunch we had today was spectacular. It was tasty. Filling. And magnificent. The staff were tremendous and very friendly. Thank you.
