Five Star Indoor Arena Equestrian Centre

I’ll start this review but saying I don’t usually do negative reviews on business and it can be seen in my history of reviews and I have previously put a 5 star review on this business which I am now retracting to 1 because I can’t give it a 0. I have been using this facility weekly and the previous owners were absolutely wonderful. I even trained my stallion regularly with the previous owner’s young horse. So if there was an issue with my horse I’m sure over the period of over 12 months would have been raised.Unfortunately the old owners have moved on and new owners have taken on 5 star. These people seem really nice but unfortunately have taken on incompetent uneducated feral managers.I was warned cautiously by some agisters about these people and their behaviour but I never take other peoples gossip on judging people. One of the managers often seeing me there weekly with no issue of my stallion. Then I had the unfortunate circumstance of meeting the woman from hell, Robyn. From the moment I walked my stallion into the arena she jumped on me for having a stallion and that I had to have green tags. Obviously she doesn’t realise that green tags were purely created for competition. She was rude and abrasive so I decided to speak to the owners directly.I turned up the next week only to be abrasively confronted by what may be her partner whom has previously seen my stallion weekly with no issues. He too as aggressive as Robyn advised the owners had no idea what they were talking about..... hmmm nice and that I have to have stallion tags as management make the rules. Then proceed to completely lie and say that there have been ALL these complaints about my stallion and that he was playing up. Funny never had any complaints in over 12 months of being there but just this week there have been SOOO many. I guess you can’t win an argument with an uneducated feral that lies off the seat of his pants. To the new owners be careful of these two individuals. They are losing you business and giving your facility a bad reputation for being toxic and nasty (seems many of the original people I used to see there every week have all disappeared) I don’t think this is a coincidence.

Great indoor arena with a nice and nicely maintained surface. Same with the rest of the facilities. Well taken care of even though it may be a few years old. The yards are fantastic. All made from pipe and have a crushed rock base so no mud or rough surfaces

Great place to train

5 star for many years has always been somewhere I looked forward to riding at. So many memories in the indoor on my horse riding with friends or attending gear markets with other fellow equestrian enthusiasts. I recently bought a green horse and 5 star is the best exposure for him. Majority of the agistees seem lovely, facilities kept clean and tidy and overall a very easy going place.
