We stayed at Coolum First Bay 121 over the Easter period and absolutely loved our stay. The unit was beautiful, clean, and the kitchen was well equipt with everything you could possibly need to cook a wonderful meal at home. I want to personally thank the team in Noosa for making our stay so enjoyable. We will most certainly return.

The home we stayed at was exceptionally clean and well maintained.However,After having paid a $1500 bond the night before I received an email asking a photocopy of my credit card and drivers licence. I didn’t feel comfortable with is and rang the contact number which was diverted to a number overseas. I rang repeatedly asking for someone in Australia to return my call and clarify. No response. I also asked for help with a issue regarding the garage door. No response.After day five of being in the property , I receive a call from overseas that I needn’t worry about sending my credit card details??????Then to get my bond back I was asked for a bank to put it in. Which I complied with. I kept checking with my bank to be told by the information line in the Phillipines, it was put in there on a certain date. It wasn’t and despite a number of telephone calls later to the overseas call centre, still no satisfaction.This was exasperated by their poor English and the fact they can’t divert you to anyone in Australia .I was asked for my bank details again!On further investigation by myself through the internet, I was able to eventually divert the call centre and speak to someone in Australia. This helped in locating the money. It was put on my credit card.You need to be able to speak to a representative of the team in Australia and get a response within the hour as is typical in most properties we stay in. This lack of communication led to unnecessary stress and angst!!!

I will never book through Prestige Holiday Homes again. All the promises online but no action. Communication was very poor - text replies only. A lovely home in a perfect location but the maintenance was lacking. We arrived to a broken dishwasher & a cockroach infestation where cockroaches kept appearing in the oven, cooking utensils & kitchen cupboards. Imagine! And nothing but platitudes during our five day stay from Prestige Holiday Homes. Even the checkin was difficult, trying to contact the office for access to the property, my calls being taken by people in the USA & Newcastle. Where were the local hosts? I don’t want others to arrive to the same experiences, particularly when all the marketing promotes attention to cleanliness and 24/7 contact.

Do not book with this company!!! Booked a home with this host through air b&b for a week in coolum beach. Original price was $1k, I had email confirmation and communication with the host confirming my booking. A day prior to my arrival they messaged to say they made amendments to the booking and I was to pay and extra $5k on top of my original booking price! It was such a drastic increase, I tried to speak to someone in the office and all my calls went ignored. I received a message saying I could have a refund but I have to cancel my end as I declined the additional cost which can effect my future bookings. Terrible service terrible company terrible communication. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This company are a scam! So glad I didn’t end up booking with them.I wasted about 3 hours of my time going back and forth with their customer service team trying to book a house before finding out there is a bunch of hidden costs involved.The way they list pricing seems like it is setup to intentionally mislead people - and the multiple staff I spoke to also seemed like they were trying to intentionally mislead me into booking before finding out the real cost of the accomodation.

Awful communication skills. We stayed with them in October and are still chasing our bond - it’s late December. The amount we are owed is not a small amount ($1500!!). Our emails go unanswered and so do our calls constantly. Do not book through this company!!

The house was lovely but it wasn’t clean. My emails and calls to Prestige Holiday Homes were ignored. The pool was filthy and there were no instructions for cleaning. These people do not communicate and don’t care. I now know I’m going to have to hound them for my bond which is probably going to mean a report to Fair Trading. Don’t use this company, the service is appalling.

My family and I stayed in a beautiful home at Mt Coolum beach The Dunes, the property was well presented and clean and the local team were helpful and very friendly to deal with. We were so grateful to bring along our dog for our holiday. Thanks to all the team.

The whole experience was stressful. I would never book through them again.Very poor communication skills . Never answered or returned phone calls, with the exception of one time on the day we were checking in, but not once in the months leading up to our check in, or when we had a question whilst staying in the house, and very rarely returned emails including when they had changed bank accounts and didn't notify us prior to our final payment, which we subsequently had paid into the previous account we were given.Unrealistic house rules ie:Absolutely no one other than the people renting the house can visit the house. (I would have liked to have my friend and her partner over for a cuppa or lunch).Due to close proximity of neighbours not allowed in the outside areas of the house between 8pm-8am. So we would bbq at night and then would eat inside instead of in the alfresco area for fear of not getting our bond back.And considering how fussy THEY were as Agents the house was not kept all that prestigiously ie: lots of sand in the pool, games missing pieces and or torn, full garbage bins when we checked in, which was two days after collection date etcWe had friends staying across the road in a house booked through a different Agency and their experience was such a contrast to ours, their hosts couldn't have been more helpful and communitive. Like I said, never again!
