Blue Shades Motel
Very clean, spacious room. Beautifully renovated. Biggest kitchenette out of any place we have ever visited. Big bathroom. We would definitely stay here again. The beds were exceptional, would not hesitate to stay here again. The pool was great too. The outside is very deceiving, as inside the unit the standard of comfort could not be higher. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Way over priced for what it is. Feels like a lot of businesses are trying to recoup lost revenue due to covid losses, and they will lose people due to their greed. We all did it tough during covid, but that's no excuse to rip people off now. $170 for a room that wasn't that flash. Wouldn't recommend at those prices.

Two types of rooms at this hotel, the slums out the back and new and update rooms near reception. We were in the slum room out the back where there is a patched hole in the wall,screws in the wall where TV is meant to be mounted, no kitchenette, not enough PowerPoint's to charge devices,chewing gum in the shower on the wall, a bug in my daughters bed and our bed we sunk and rolled to the middle. My wife made a complaint they were nice about it and put us in a new room near reception with full kitchenette. Will only stay here if it is the last hotel in Maryborough.

Just a stopover on our way north. Tired rooms but clean and tidy. They were super hot and took hours to get the temp to a reasonable level with the air-conditioning.No free wifi this visit either... probably my last visit here.

We had a wonderful experience. Service was exceptional. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Restaurant was excellent especially the Seafood Marinara all fresh ingredients with choice of sauce. Either creamy garlic or tomato base with Chilli.

Love staying here ..rooms quiet...comfy..clean.My only complaint...room service knocked on my door at 9am to clean my room despite checkout at 10am. Felt rushed to leave thenOther than that a lovely stay

Blue Shades Motel
First time visit. From the road it looks slightly dated. However the rooms are modern, spacious, very very clean with facilities for your own food. Tea , coffee and free water available. This is an ideal place if you're looking at a quick stop over. We'll done Blue Shades. Very friendly reception for guests.

This is the best motel I've stayed in. The room was awesome, big and very clean. Piping hot shower. All the staff were so friendly. Plus it was quiet for sleeping, this I the best ever. Meals to the room were tasty and top value for money. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff.

I had a pleasant stay. Was in a nice room that was slightly dated but had all I needed. Meals served in rooms were good.Was perplexed about the wifi. Whilst it was good. it comes with limitations on access to websites that are deemed inappropriate according to the wifi network. It bordered on overzealous censorship and invasion of privacy.
