Lovely little adventure, the $30 package included a really nice lunch. The staff were exceptionally friendly, would do this again!

Thank you for this experience. The train itself is well appointed, but the stand out of this experience for me was the amazing customer serviceThank you

Awesome concept and a real novelty.....great for the kidsThe only negative is that we were locked into a carriage and had to wait for the ticket guy to come and unlock the door, from a health and safety point of view....this is extremely dangerous...please fix this :)

World’s first solar train. Two old train cabins combined and runs on solar. Very nostalgic train ride from Byron beach to north beach. They even issue the old style tickets. The train staff is very friendly and explained all about the train and how it came about. Worth a ride..

Awsome! Old school 1950s train into Byron. A world first Solar powered train cruises into town. Goes on the hour every hour until 5pm. Pretty good if you're staying at elements and want to head into Byron centre. 8 min trip. If you just want to go there and back it's 5 min stop and then goes back.

Great train trip, could have been longer though. Good to be able to talk to the train driver, very cool being solar powered/Battery

A lovely gentle experience, before you reach the hubbub of Byron itself! Just listen to the comments of little kids on the step-back-in-time train and you'll smile.

We took a ride today and we just loved it. The kids enjoyed sitting in the front with the operator throughout the ride. They asked tons of questions which the operator patiently answered. It's only a 10 minute drive, but a very enjoyable one. It costs only $5 adult/$3 child for a one way trip. Or pay $30 for a return trip including lunch at the North Byron Hotel. You can pay with cash or card. There's no booth, so you pay before boarding. The train staff will help you out. Parking is close by, $15 per 4 hours. We did the Ride in Style and it saves you a couple dollars of you were planning to eat a burger, salad or pasta anyway. While you enjoy lunch, the kids can play at the small playground outside.
