Michel's Pender Place
We were visiting the area and popped in for a coffee and hopefully a light breakfast. Unfortunately there was not much in the way of vegan options, so we settled for a coffee with soy milk.The staff were friendly and the coffee was tasty. We had a good experience. It would have been better if we could have had a tasty vegan snack as well.

Absolutely terrible service and way overpriced. We ordered a snitzel burger and a pulled pork burger, almost $40 and half an hour later we were served with two McDonald Cheeseburger sized birgers. The waitress slammed them on the table without even acknowledging us. The snitzel" consisted of two very small crumb chicken pieces that resembled fish fingers. Both meals came with a side of cold

Overpriced cake with supers super extremely sweet milkshakes. The caramel cheesecake tasted very dry and rubbery. It's quite a tiny piece,too. Do not mind to pay $6.90 for a piece of cake but not with the quality we received. Another cakecwas notnthat dry and rubbery but, too sweet asawell. Very disappointed with what we pay today for cakes and milkshakes...

A good venue with lots of seating. All new, clean, and modern. Good value food and friendly staff, but they were very slow to make the food and bring it out, especially considering it was only a few slices of fruit toast. The staff were apologetic though, and I'd come back again.

Paid $15 for two double thick milkshakes... charged me a dollar per scoop (4extra scoops of icecream charged) It took ages to come out and when it arrived, it was pure chocolate milk. I asked the young lady if she thinks this was 'double thick' and she looked at me and said 'yeah'... very dissapointed at service and quality... we come to support our local and dont mind paying extra for what was asked for. lost our business :-(

The service here is appalling. I am not sure who is worse, the owner or some of her staff. They are rude, unwelcoming and down right arrogant. This is not a first off experience here unfortunately. Pender place and the Maitland mall stores give this franchise a bad name. Don't buy the birthday cakes either, every time I have bought one they have been old and stale. If you dare to complain expect to have your meal or coffee sabotaged!!

My Aunty and myself came to your store today we had the breakfast wrap and chicken schnitzel wrap and iced coffee we have been so sick all day this is absolutely disgusting get your food safety under control I’ve had the wraps from there before and every time I have them. I have the exact same thing I am sick every single time I have one.

It would be nice for once if this business picks up their phone when it rings. It doesn't seem that they are interested and too busy to attend phone calls
