Friends gathering for lunch. Food is lovely! veal rib eye medium rare is so tender. Lamb beautiful presentation. Service is excellent! Great river view.

La Vue Waterfront Restaurant
I chose La Vue Restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday with friends recently.Outstanding, for food, service, view and atmosphere… numerous choices on the menu ensured everyone enjoyed their meals.Desserts, well of course it’s French!Thoroughly enjoyed our night, we will certainly be back next time we’re in Brisbane.

La Vue Waterfront Restaurant
The food of La Vue was exceptional! The view is also very nice: in front of the story bridge. The waitresses we had were very friendy, polite and really nice thanks! The only thing we did not appreciate is that we have called in the morning and they said the restaurant was fully booked up but then we booked online and we went regardless and we found out the restaurant was actually half empty. Not sure why but that isn't polite.

Food Paradise.Warm foie gras, personalised service, and river views, amongst other pleasantries.Lovely restaurant in a beautiful river front setting. The service was spot on. Engaging and thoughtful. The food was, loosen my belt, spectacular.Real foie gras served warm in a twist of sweet snd savoury that just bursts with joy in my mouth.Opted for a little tasting of a few dishes with matched pairings, I let the host choose with his wisdom.Adding this to the list of go-to haunts.

The view from this restaurant is truly special and really makes a meal here a noteworthy event. Restaurants are for eating at though (and drinking), so it is fortunate that the epic scenery is backed up by some of the finest French cuisine around. The restraunteur is a warm and welcoming chap who has been at it for years. His menu is enduring, not overly complicated and wine selection is on point.

I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at La Vue Waterfront Restaurant. Our meal began with a shared crab entree that was simply wonderful. I chose the duck for my main course, a beautifully prepared dish with a rich flavor profile, while my friend savored the lamb, finding it nicely cooked.The staff impressed us with their efficient, friendly service, adding a seamless flow to our evening. Even more captivating was the authentic French flair they brought to the experience, which made the night even more unique and memorable.The setting is undeniably breathtaking. The restaurant, nestled by the Brisbane River, provides an enchanting view of the Story Bridge - it’s the perfect backdrop for a romantic date night or a special celebration. The table settings were charmingly adorned with fresh roses, adding a lovely touch to the ambiance.In terms of value, the prices were fair for the quality we received. While not an outright bargain, it's a worthy splurge for special occasions. The only minor hiccup was the slightly prolonged wait for our bill at the end, but it did not significantly dampen our overall enjoyment.In summary, La Vue Waterfront Restaurant is a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience with its authentic French atmosphere and unbeatable riverside location. La Vue Waterfront Restaurant
We booked here for my sisters birthday and the moment we walked it we were treated perfectly. The food came out so fast and all dishes were delicious. I had a feeling that the food would be abit smaller being a little bit more expensive place, however I couldn't even finish my main dish. Amazing place!

The restaurant's atmosphere is good. The service is mediocre. The waitresses didn't even ask if we liked the food or not. They don't give any information about the dishes or sauces. I ordered duck risotto and a medium rare veal eye fillet with truffle sauce. Duck risotto was so delicious. The veal eye fillet was rare. You can see this in the picture. The truffle sauce was terrific. I couldn't eat the veal because it was undercooked, so I left it on the plate. The waitress doesn't ask if the steak is okay or not. But recommend the food apart from the under cooked steak.

Nice tasting food and beautifully presented. Prompt service and happy to help with wine recommendations. We were told all food was gluten free except the bread. The only minor negative is their background music was poor, reminding us of telephone hold music.
