DO NOT USE A BUSINESS THAT REFUSES TO GIVE A QUOTE OVER THE CALL AND DEMAND RIDICULOUS CALL OUT FEE UPFRONT, Just like this one.We gave details of what we need done, our aircon model and size of which we needed them service. However, the business refused to give us a quote over the phone. We were charged $140 for the call out fee for someone to come in and look briefly at our aircon model and size, exactly what we told them on the phone, and gave us LUDICROUS quote for $1200+ for jet cleaning service EACH and extras if parts are required. Mind you, these air-con cost $1000 BRAND NEW. So that's almost $4000 quote for maintenance service of 3 aircons that we got.They also gave us an option to replace 3.3kW split-system aircon with installation of $5500+ for ONE SINGLE AIRCON.I realized why you weren't able to tell us how much you charge for cleaning one 3.3kW Aircon. You know how much exactly it is. I was watching you selected standard work item with predetermined price on your tablet.While us Aussies are working hard to make a living, imagine a business that rip us off $1400 a day/staff from taking 10 bookings/trips without doing any works at all cause the quote they are giving out is a joke.Would you pay $140 for some stranger to spend a few minutes visiting your house? I wouldn't.I was told they have many staff going around making $140 a trip everyday and they have to charge to prevent people from calling them out for nothing. I explained to them that if you could have given us a quote over the phone, we wouldn't have wasted our time and money in the first place.Do yourself a favor and find someone else that can give you an honest quote/service.

I'm thrilled with the service I received from Metropolitan Air Conditioning. They replaced my aircon filter and did a thorough job, ensuring the system was running efficiently. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly, and I would recommend them for filter replacements without hesitation.

Total Rip-off. SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They charged me a $140 call out fee. Fair enough. Then he said just to clean and service my two A/Cs it would be $1829.90. This includes the following:Auditing and Compliance Fee: $49.90Jet clean and rejuvenation of wall split: $1190.00Additional rejuvenation of additional wall split: $590.00He said that 99% of the time this fixes whatever issue you have. But until they do this they can't diagnose what is wrong. So I was like, fine, just do it (after I commented that it seemed expensive).So he does that. Then says that there are leaks in BOTH units. They could fix it for, wait for it, @$9000. But they could also replace the units for, wait for it, @$13,000 (oh and that cost includes the discount of $1829.00 you get if you buy new units from them).I was like, no, not right now, I'll have to think about it... Please send me the quotes. Funny thing is, the quotes were never sent to me, guess they don't want evidence of the rip off. Of course I googled them and found all the terrible reviews AFTER the fact.So then, the one a/c actually WAS working after whatever he did. But he didn't tell me that. The other one still wasn't. So I found someone else who came and fixed the one that was broken and re-gassed them both, for $895.00.So $9000 vs $895. INSANITY. And there was absolutely no reason to try to sell me new units. Total BS. So mad that I even paid the $140 + $1829.90. I usually read reviews like crazy, but I was busy and just needed them fixed. I feel totally taken advantage of.
