Placid Waters Holiday Apartments

Underground car park and general location is good but unit 7 was basically in original 1970's condition and nothing had been updated. Original taps, lights, kitchen, bathroom. Not a thing had been updated. Carpet was old and grotty as was the dreadful old uncomfortable lounge. One could find better furniture at the op shop so all in all it made for a depressing holiday experience. Won't return. Will pay more and have a better experience. The apartment felt grimy. You couldn't relax and have a holiday but it's also all about expectations. If you have no expectations you may not find it as bad as we did. Ask if the apartment you are being allocated is in original condition or whether any of them have been renovated. It was also supposedly on the ground floor but there were still quite a number of steps to get to it.

Very comfortable apartment with views over the pool. Great location, across the street from the water and parks. Heaps of eats and drinks at close hand.We'll be back.

Absolutely disgusting display of management. MY ADVICE WOULD BE NOT TO BOOK AT THIS APARTMENTS!A phone call was made and advised we would be late for check in on Sunday due to a medical condition.But they wanted to leave early to go to their sons. So we had friends also staying in the apartments pick up our room key. They were also abused on a number of occasions by management. Upon check out was the true display of why not to stay at this complex. My mother who suffers from Parkinson’s was abused, had her card thrown about and this women raised her arm and hand not once but twice. Mum who obviously felt threatened pulled her phone out and did record it. So we have the threat of physical abuse on video.To come and stay here for ANZAC Day with A group of veterans and to be abused including on ANZAC Day. Shows these people have no respect and should not be in this position.

No lifts so wasnt easy having to carry luggage up stairs.Units are spacious but no aircons in room and beds were so hard and could feel springs even with a mattress topper on so we all had bad backaches.client had to sleep on lounge they were so bad.when commented to manager all she could say was we were first to say beds were hard..yeh right ..beautiful pool area and great price but had no internet coverage in unit .even our phones had no service..feel like we need a holiday to recover from this one

I can not praise Annette & Rob enough. Due to CONVID-19 and government regulations I was forced to cancel my accommodation. On speaking with Annette and Rob they were extremely helpful in finding a solution to the current crisis. It is a testament to their morals and there business how the dealt with the situation and I can not thank them enough. I look forward to staying and supporting this wonderful business and the once this health crisis has concluded.Thank youAdam

Apartment exceeded my expectations. Spacious rooms with a cosy view of pool amongst palms. Apartment was fully stocked with necessary utensils. Staff very warm and welcoming and personally accommodated a very late check in. Highly recommended.

We always stay at Placid Waters when we visit Bribie Island. Yes, the property is dated, however you can't beat the location as it's a short walk to Pumistone Passage, playgrounds, restaurants, the jetty and coffee shops.

Annette who manages the place is so nice helpful and very welcoming, The place was very clean huge apartments have been twice in a month and will go back again and great prices

Great place to stay and really enjoyed the piece and quiet, location was fantastic and the rooms exceptionally clean and spacious and have no problems recommending this place.
