Bougle Run

Headed up to Barnbougle Golf Links to have a crack at their newest instalment that is Bougle Run! I was keen to complete the trifecta of all their courses and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a Par 44, 14 hole- ‘Short Course’ consisting of 12 par 3’s & 2 par 4’s. It’s a cool little course which sort of runs alongside/in between the Lost Farm course. Anyway it was heaps of fun to play. Most of the holes are about 80 - 110m in length but fully incorporate the undulating lands they sit on. The 2 par 4’s are short at 250 -300m in length. The course is beautiful and just as nice as Barnbougle & Lost Farm. It took about 1.5 hours to play the whole course. Just note that when you go up to play, you need to go to the Lost Farm side of the golf links which is a few minutes drive down from Barnbougle. I paid $119 for the game, a hire push buggy and a sleeve of premium balls so it must of cost about $80-$85? If so that is probably a little high for 14 holes (mostly par 3’s) however the course is brilliant and heaps of fun to play.
