Megalong Valley Holiday Cabins

If your looking for a REAL get away, a TOTAL escape from your everyday mundane then Megalong Holiday Cabins are for you!You will be greeted by the owner Dallas or Chris and for whatever reason if they can't meet you they will arrange with you which cabin most suits your requirements and where they will leave the door key (usually in the cabin door) it's country where TRUST goes a long way.Blakheath is a beautiful 10 minute drive from the cabins. It's a lovely Township that has all your needs. There is also just a few minutes from Dallas''s, a farmhouse style breakfast and lunch restaurant.There is abundant wildlife surrounding the cabins.I've been going as often as I can over the past 8 years and enjoyed EVERY BIT OF MY STAYS.THANKS DALLAS FOR MAKING MY LIFE THAT LITTLE BIT SWEETER.SEE YOU AGAIN SOON.

It was horrible, no firewood, finally they did bring some, and fireplace smoke got inside, it leaked badly, my eyes were watering. Carbon Monoxide poisoning, I could have died in there... Views are fantastic and price fit in my pocket. But those noisy neighbor's with a huge parties 3-4 houses together hade a humongous fireplace right in there, and the noise... Not a Peacefully place and safe anymore..

Highly recommend these cabins if your into getting back to nature and simplicity. We were a group of 14, including kids. Our cabins (we had 3) were so spacious. We had 2 rooms-double bed in one and the other 4 bunk beds, built in cupboards in bedrooms, Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom/toilet, lounge/fireplace and dining table, Balcony with table and chairs. No Tv and signal for those on Vodafone either, that was perfect for us to switch of though and for the kids too explore and get outside. The cabins are a little rustic in my opinion ( not a bad thing for us though) but the price reflects that. The water had a faint rust smell too it so I would recommend bringing your own drinking water, totally ok for showering though. Outside we had our own fire pit, wood bbq and tables and chairs. Lots of wildlife and so peaceful, we loved the fresh air and getting back in nature. Mermaid caves a short drive away and was a highlight for us as well. Dallas the owner is very welcoming and has that old school, country trusting mentality. We seriously cant wait to go back we all loved it so much.

Great spot to enjoy some recluse and hot fires in winter. :)

Inexpensive secluded and relaxed. Would recommend. Not far from Sydney but seems world's away.
