Signed Dec 2020. Block cleared April 22 and again August 22. Slab down Nov 22 .Now Feb. 23 brickwork has commenced. Nearly lost Home grant as no slab within the 18 months. Price went up 14k before anything done. Quoted clause 9 as the building time to be told no it's clause 29 . Time starts after slab is invoiced. So another 340 plus working days can be added after Nov 22 because of clay which already cost 8- 14k extra.. Rent while waiting has increased plus the mortgage has started. Didn't plan 3 plus years to build a single storey. But they can find tradies for their multi dwellings .!!! Photos after 26 months waiting .No communication .I had sent photos to them earlier of the block when nothing started on expected dates. They didn't inform it hadn't started . Not inspired at all

Inspired homes are one of the most reputable builders in Perth, but like any builder in this boom they're taking a bit longer than normal. It is what it is.

I Don’t rate this builder at all, not even 1 star. We signed dec 2020 and only now have timber roof up, I understand there is delays but come on that’s getting old now. Apparently we have more delays with the Tin and let me guess that will sit there for 6 months again like we waited for the timber. We have built 3 times prior and never experienced anything like this at all. My biggest regret is using this builder. I have to question there financials to be honest. Kylie. Southern river build.

Immensely disappointing experience with Inspired Homes, WA. Here's an account of my own personal experience with them between April to July 2022: After merely about 2-3 weeks of signing a PPA to build a steel framed double story home in Cockburn Central, and paying a $5000 deposit as requested (and hassled), we were immediately hit initially by an $80k for a steel framed (as previously agreed) OR $30k for a double brick build variation - this was such poor form. At the point of signing up, the Sales Manager and Sales Consultant gave us his word that there would be NO price increases if we signed on the dotted line before the end of April. We trusted them, for all his sweet talk, and went well beyond our means to raise the deposit of $5000 requested by the due date in good faith.Then came the saga with regards to the refund promised - it was indeed disappointing to note that the customer service received, especially from Accounts, was well below par. I had left numerous voicemails, wrote more than a dozen emails, rang numerous times, left numerous messages, etc - with little to no reply. I just wanted my deposit back.We were just an average middle class family with numerous bills to pay - an amount of $5000 while some might regard as meagre, it is a lot to us. We needed the money back to pay off debts, bills, etc to the point where this long delay has somewhat impacted our credit rating. This was explicitly explained in my emails to one and all at Inspired - yet it fell on deaf ears.There was absolute silence for about a fortnight or so - no communication whatsoever was rendered.We are glad that perhaps it was a blessing that we did not work in partnership in our proposed build.As you can appreciate, unfortunately, we will not be recommending Inspired Homes as a builder of choice to anyone.

The experience so far has been very disappointing!! To sign you up they tell you that they are not like other builders and they provide exceptional customer service and a faster build time. We signed up nearly 2 years ago and seems like those building with other builders are getting better results than us. Inspired Homes have non existent communication - they simply ignore your emails or don't return calls even after several follow ups. To improve your rating you must first learn the basics of customer service and communicate with your clients. You must be responsive and provide transparent updates instead of leaving the customer in the dark with generic updates with no solid dates or progress to leave room for more delays!!There is no point for Inspired Homes staff to put fake 5 star reviews or fake likes to improve your customer ratings as it is clear too many real people who are building are liking the 1 star reviews so are not happy with Inspired Homes. They are super slow to give updates about the progress of your home but invoice for progress payments at lightning speed and highlight that late payments will incur an interest charge. We should be charging a late fee to Inspired Homes and receive a discount as this home should have been completed by now but is not even half finished!!! Very disappointing indeed!! :(Update: We are still waiting forever for some progress!! After we managed to get a stage to finally progress we have been waiting over 4 months for the next stage to start and Inspired can't even provide a date when this will be!It is frustrating to see again more fake 5 star reviews from Inspired Homes staff, friends or family saying things like any builder in this boom is taking longer than normal. Then how is it possible that other homes that started after us are now progressing ahead of us? With so many real 1 star reviews, Inspired Homes are now going into damage control. What can Jon the Sales Manager do rather then pretend like the company cares and pretend something will be done about it? How about showing results with the progress of the build as that is what customers are really wanting!!Update:Nothing has changed - still excuses after excuses for delays!! This may be the longest build yet. If I could rate them no star or even negative stars I would!!

Paid premium price but did not get premium product. With bad tiling, scratched glass, defective downpipes, to name the least. Being rushed in to a overdue homes with a massive defect list having to wait months for items to be fixed!

Immensely disappointing experience with Inspired Homes, WA. We don't have any option below single star rating.Here's an account of my own personal experience with them between September 2020 until today 30/03/2023:We signed our PWA (Preworks Agreement) with Inspired Homes in September 2020 with the promise of their salesperson (based at Piara Waters display home) that site work would start in December 2020. Since then, we had been chasing the builder to start the site work and requested to provide the tentative site work schedule but Inspired Homes never provided it. Not a reliable builder at all.Since September 2023, Inspired Homes hiked the building price more than $25,000 with different reasoning as PWA/Contract had so many fine prints which tripped us over. Even normal size & quality fittings in bathroom and kitchen are not included in standard pricing. As soon as we asked for normal standard size fittings, we were loaded with heaps of variations. Once you realise you don't have any other option but to accept them, they would put all variations (toilet tiles, fittings, bathroom bench tops etc) under Preliminaries and Site works" variations and they sent us the invoice for all the variations as soon as they touched the site in April 2022 after almost 1 1/2 years. I advise anyone not to sign on with inspired homes. They know how to fraud their clients and charge them 32k to terminate a contract due to 60k price increase when the home wasn’t in contraction planning. I dont know how in 7 months they can give you a major price increase and because of that, my bank declined my loan increase and inspired charged me massive termination cost that will not allow me to own my own home due to all my saving invested into them. Had been considering building through inspired homes, luckily i come and had a look at the reviews 1st.Definitely looking at going through another company after some of the reviews.Also noted that they dont reply to their negative comments, very poor communication.

Newly built homes being built in Southern River (Ambia). Houses getting built quick, on time and nicely. The likes of Home Buyers Centre, Terrace, Your Homes WA and many more. They have got roofs and windows on their clients houses, also completed with Stairs and garages. Them House are Already in lock up stages under 10months. (Quotes from other visitors). My parents chose Inspired Homes. That house does not have windows, nor stairs, there is no garage been put up. The slab was put down more than 15months ago. The roof was put up early January but nothing else has been done since (Well except a nicely spray painted body part on the slab). The builders hardly reply back to emails or never give you an accurate response, always a bunch of excuses. One excuse was we don’t have the materials (Yet other houses are getting it done) Then once they do have the Materials, they use the excuse of there is no tradies, yet again other houses around us have gotten their job done. My parents house were one of the first to have a slab down, we have been going to see the house progress every week and only for us to see next doors and other neighbours move in or to be in lock up stages (considering we where here with a Slab 6months before others)I’d highly recommend not to build with these guys as they’re useless. You work hard for the money you earn and the stuff you pay for. The best these guys can offer is to build the house on time and not give you childish excuses and at least try compete with other builders around them.What’s worse is to see other reviews saying the same thing. BE BETTER Inspired.Also Jon don’t Bother giving us your comment with your email we’ve been emailing you from the start.
