City Beach - Cockburn

This can be a review for all city beach stores.It’s hard to explain the level of service, I appreciate hiring young staff but there mustn’t be any level or management or training once they are hired. Staff seem unhappy and really don’t care. I had to ask a staff member the price of a couple of shirts as there were 3 seperate sale tickets on top of the stand - she didn’t know what the price was which is fair but she didn’t offer to go check, just literally stared at me. There is numerous occasions of this for me and it’s disappointing.Stores are a mess and overstocked that you can’t access most stock (I understand you merchandise this way on purpose but it’s frustrating).Also, store doesn’t price match its own online prices, would rather send me stock from Brisbane to click and collect at a cheaper price rather than give me the 20% off in store - this is horrible business.Hope things change.

I just went in to city beach to see I believe the manager it seems to speak to one of the staff “next time ask me first” in a dismissive tone, giving her dirty looks for the rest of the time I stood there to be served.It’s very obvious this staff member has a warped sense of power problem when in fact she only works at city beach, as customers, we notice everything and this made me feel uncomfortable and bad for this girl trying to do her job.I don’t believe this staff member is manager material, and the girl she was speaking to was very professional non the less.

Literally the most inattentive, bordering on rude service I have ever received in Perth.Served by a female with the name on the receipt starting with A.You're in customer service, if you hate customers so much, find a different job.

I came in today and the store was a mess (as usual) ,I couldn't find the style of jeans I was after because they where underneath a million discarded clothing items, and when I asked the girl at the counter for help, she said our jeans are right here you can dig through them yourself" and walked off

Rudest staff at the counter, very poor customer service!

Went in few months ago browsing around. I see a special: 2 pairs of jeans $110/120 (don't remember exactly) , I try them on and take 2, same model different colour. At the till I wait 15 min to be able to pay ( with a long queue behind me) because the girl obviously decide to get a phone call instead of serving people in the shop. When finally is my turn to pay she tells me that the special is on another brand, however they are all on the same rack. So, even if there is a wrong price displayed I get one pair of jeans instead of 2 at full price. I wash the jeans, wear them for a dinner out (4 hours?) , the day after I can put them on and take them off unzipping them. I call the shop, explain that the jeans after 4 hours on are 1 size bigger and they tell me to go in with the jeans when the manager is in. I go and talk to the manager. She tells me that I should wash them and see if they go back to the original size because it's normal that strech jeans get loose and it's even suggested to buy one size smaller. I tell her I never heard this things in 20 years wearing strech jeans with good or less good brands, tell her I was wearing a cheap one and was perfect after 2 years...She tells me she buys her jeans in xxxx that she pays them $130 , letting me understand that I bought a cheap jeans and I wasted my money on rubbish.No even the manager the face of the shop" buys there!!!Never again! And please train your staff!!!"

came in on a Sunday with a Christmas exchange no receipt the young girl did exchange for me which was nice tho had to wait in line for 15mins. was told to exchange something for same price then to wait in line again for another 10 plus minute then end up having to pay extra i had to ask as she didn't explain then was told the item I exchanged was on sale annoying but had no receipt so understandable. the young girl serving me seemed to struggle feel like they definitely need some more mature team members on board that have customer service experience and can also give the team guidance just poorly operated company and will shop online next time to avoid going into the store

The worse customer service ever. I think the girls over there must learn how to treat the customer properly and get better training.

Had a really wonderful experience at this store today, the customer service from Mia and Corinne was exceptional- and they are absolutely amazing at making recommendations and people feel welcome in the store. I really appreciate the help they gave me, and it will not be forgotten! Thank you!Update: I wanted to thank Shay for her help as well, I recently returned and she was absolutely lovely, and made me feel comfortable choosing an outfit :)I have been unable to write another review - but you have some fantastic staff!!
