One of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere. Gets busy but service is great and it’s a fab place to spend a hour or two.

Absolutely brilliant cafe, serving up great coffee and food in an industrial area.STAFF: Really attentive, kind and efficient.FOOD: Absolutely brilliant. All of our meals were really well balanced, of high quality and arrived quickly. They even have great kids meals too. They accommodate vegans, vegetarians and gluten free folks. Admittedly they don't have many gf treats/gf food in the counter, however given the area, makes sense.Their wide selection of coffee was a super nice surprise.INTERIOR: Large, ample room for larger groups and those with prams etc. Was nice and warm inside on a freezing cold day.OVERALL: Highly recommend and will be going back.

Possibly the best coffee and most consistent coffee I've had in a while. Came here a few times while on a work trip after it was recommended by a colleague. Thoroughly impressed with the food and coffee and the waiter was on point, although not personable. Highly recommended to everyone.

Good food quality but the layout of their space can make it overcrowded. The staff are amazing but they've eliminated table service for QR code ordering which is always disappointing. But my main issue is with the unrealistic pricing - over $6 for an espresso makes this the most expensive in Canberra. Breakfasts are $17-27, nudging $30 on a Saturday with their all-weekend surcharge. We've enjoyed coming here in past but now we'd rather spend our $70 on a full dinner elsewhere.

To me no coffee in Canberra (and perhaps Australia) matches the quality that ONA offers. I've been buying their beans for years now and everytime delivers a delicious cup of coffee.I always enjoy the food at the Cafe which is worth mention it is the actual roastery and you can walk in to see the coffee roasters and enjoy a serious top grade cup of coffee. There is a wide range of coffee and price. From your usual average priced flatwhite or cappuccino, to a special reserve pour over or espresso that is worth paying the price for a special occasion which will change the way you appreciate coffee. I promise you that.Also, the staff is so passionate about their coffee that if you ask, they will run you through what you should expect on the aroma and tasting notes of your coffee. They also have Barista courses to teach you make your own cafe grade coffee at home!Give it a try. You won't regret it.

This was my first time visiting ONA, and it was wonderful. The style and atmosphere is excellent, the Cafe was clean and well presented. The staff were well dressed, friendly and helpful. Coffee and food was prepared far quicker than I had expected with our meals in front of us in less than 10 minutes. We had the Maple" coffee

Amazing food and a huge selection of different coffees. The coffee is so good I ordered a second to try a different one and did not regret it. Price is standard cafe prices but the quality makes it so much better value. Can get a bit noisy as it is so busy. Great friendly staff that will explain the difference between coffees.

Come for the coffee, stay for the food. Ona has consistently produced some of the best coffee in Canberra for a number of years now, and whenever we are in town we make sure to grab a cup. This time we were able to stay for breakfast and it was excellent. The portions were big, everything had a gluten free option, but the price was on the expensive side. Would definitely like to explore more of the menu next time we drop in.

ONA Coffee House Cafe
Coffee is not any better than other places that use “Ona” beans, however prices are much higher (> $15 for a large and a medium coffee on Saturday). Last time we dined in here, I saw tea towels that were used to wipe the cutlery, they looked disgusting. the meals were okay, milkshakes - wouldn’t recommend. However, I wouldn’t return here
