If you travel around, it’s good to see. Not incredible, it’s like 10mn visit after a little road to see. The history behind is more interesting that the visit itself.

I gave it a 5 star because I love anything to do with WW2 but not for everyone I'm sure. The wife stayed in the car...

Historic military site.. not much in the way of any information relating to its actual significance or purpose historically however.. but..an absolutely awesome vantage point to GOTO and observe the cane farms burning off in the evening and into the night. Spectacular.. and if your feeling adventurous quietly approach the building remains without using any light source until you get to the entrance then shine your torch inside... batman would love it!! Access to Charlies Hill is a little tight so be careful dragging a large caravan up there. The buildings are quite old WWII era but still quite interesting. It could definitely do with some signs about the site.

RAAF 211 Radar Station
Pretty disappointed since it would have played a part in our nation's history, the poor place has been neglected. It's over growing with grass, rubbish scattered over the place and graffiti inside and out.No plaque or photos from back in the day for recognition or for what purpose the radar station played.

This place is very special and worth looking at. It is a shame that there is graffiti all over most of one of the buildings and there is animal droppings all through the other one. Being heritage listed they should be much better cared for so our children's children can see what had to be done to protect the Country.
