First home buyer looking for quote on split system supply and install. Was advised a technician needs to attend site to quote and if we don't go ahead there is a $69 fee. Even though website states free quote.

Just find out they are under EXTERNAL ADMINISTRATION, purchase wont be covered under warranty.Very dishonest and unreliable people to deal with. My heater stops working from the 2nd month of purchase/installation (July 2022) and Comfyfirst refused to take the heater back or come up with a solution, a few services were booked but not one turned up. Below is my dairy with them.On 14 June 2022, I purchased and installed a new Brivis heater from Comfyfirst after Comfyfirst's technician inspected my house condition. On 12 July, heater stopped working and I reported to Comfyfirst. On 13 July, Comfyfirst's technician inspected without outcome. I kept calling comfyfirst still no response. On 2 Aug, Comfyfirst advised they have lodged a warranty to Brivis. On 17 Aug, Brivis technician inspected and advised the heater's flue doesn't fit my house's existing flue. Then Comfyfirst sent technician changed heater's flue.Between August 2022- Feb 2023 , this heater was repaired another 3 times including a visit from Brivis technician but still not working. On 7 April 2023, an appointment was booked with Comfyfirst's senior manager to discuss return and refund but no one turned up.On 11 April 2023, another senior manager (according to the Comfyfirst, the booked senior manager who promised to take the heater back and issue refund will be on another big project" for next 3 months) was rescheduled for 13 April .On 13 April 2023

Had one of their technicians come out to service my evaporative cooling unit. Was told the unit was shot and that pads weren't made for them anymore. Our only option was a brand new $4000 unit. After a few calls, I found a place few places that stocked the appropriate pads, picked some up for $120 and installed them myself.Technician seemed like a nice enough guy, but honestly, in this economic climate there is no place for this unnrcessary upselling bull.

Sometime in October 2022, I called this business to help me repair my heater. The technician did a fantastic job and told me that my heater and cooler were perfectly working. I was charged $2,700 which I paid( I still regret this)In Dec 2022, I noticed that my cooler was tripping off the AC switch on the switch box.I called comfy air to look at my AC, they charged over $14,000 for a new unit saying that the unit on my roof was bad and couldn't be repaired. He didn't even climb the roof to check for any fault.I called the manufacturer and they sent their technician. The technician went to my control panel and turned the switch back on, and equally went to my backyard and turned the AC on and boom my cooler started working .This didn't take 10 minutes and I paid only $350.If you must go with comfy air, please get a second opinion from another expert.

Used ComfyFirst through PlumbFirst to come and check my heating system as they originally installed it. Was quoted $310 for a service and another $400 to replace an ignition switch - got another quote and other guy came out ASAP- NO faulty ignition switch! Two holes needed to be cleaned (took the guy 30 seconds) and one red wire was moved over something and needed to be moved (took 10 seconds). Also quoted $2700 from ComfyFirst to fix heating vents as one room was a little cold with vent not fully working. Other guy removed this vent and looked inside - the damper flap was shut. Opened it (took 5 seconds). Total cost with full service $220. Avoid Comfy First like the plague! Absolutely unprofessional and a complete and upper rip. The ComfyFirst person obviously had NO IDEA. Thank goodness I got a second quote.

these guys parked in my laneway behind my garage (that I have a legal right to use) and blocked my wife and 2 young kids in for half an hour. We physically could not leave. The guys attitude was like it was no big deal, you'll just have to wait". Had these guys had the consideration to let the neighbours know prior

Joe was very friendly and personable. He arrived right on time and did the job outstandingly. We didn’t even think that our dishwasher was going to be able to fit into it’s spot all the way, but he managed to get it to fit perfectly! Extremely happy with the service.

We had used this company for new heating a few years ago with no issues so phoning them for our aircon replacement was a no brainer. I regret not getting another quote.Their installers fell through the roof whilst installing it. Where about to leave the property with the hole until the real estate agent who manages our property demanded it be covered up. The poor tenant was beside herself. It then took 2months for the job to be fixed, they repaired it and the paint job bubbled due to it being repaired on a hot day, so it had to be repaired again. When complete, they never rang me to apologise, they were rude to the agent and myself when trying to communicate with them. They then sent the bill to the agent when I had specifically asked for it, and because I withheld payment until it was fixed and complete they sent an email saying we have been fair and reasonable waiting for payment". Couldn't believe it. They have acted as if it's my problem they fput a hole in the roof. The reception are rudeLack complete customer experienceLet's hope they are acceptable with warranty periods because after I paid the invoice and asked for a review my warranty line items were removed. So now I'm off to argue that one."
