I bought a Sony Bravia TV 6 months ago and it has now had 2 faults. I am very upset and disappointed that this has happened. I am definitely worried about the longevity of this TV. This is the first Sony TV that I have bought, cost me thousands, cheaper brands are way better. I now have a refurbished TV which is definitely not acceptable. It will probably break again next month. An absolute disgrace of a company. A replacement should definitely be given in situations like this.

Customer service is useless and ineffectual when a common sense solution exists.I've been contacting Sony for two weeks now, trying to get a defective lens exchanged. For a $1500 lens to be producing so much motor noise seemed unusual out of the box, when every other Sony lens I've used has been silent. Yet when I contacted Sony on the day I received the lens, they said they'd 'ask their engineers' and wouldn't set up the exchange, alleging that the brand new product was now 'used' and couldn't be exchanged. Two weeks later and they're still faffing about uselessly, taking their sweet time to set up a shipping label to send it to a service centre for assessment.Compare that to an identical scenario (same lens, same issue) with Sony UK, where the customer service agent instantly said that the better thing to do was to exchange, since it was a brand new lens bought on day one.None of this is following their own advertised returns policy and it's a very simple issue to resolve. I have no idea why Sony Australia's customer support is trained this way.

Never buy from Sony Australia! I purchased a Bravia OLED TV and tried to cancel the order before it was even delivered. They refused outright. The customer service team are so unhelpful it borders on pointless. I have never left a bad review on eBay then I've been using it for over 15 years. This experience has been shocking.

Sony customer service will just bully you, they will not agree to replace, and will not send you shipping label to get it repaired, and then after sending in for repair, they will not reply when you will get it back. They will just keep harassing you. They will save their own costs but loose customers.

Absolutely the worse customer support I have ever come across. I bought and paid for a $1795 tv online. I did not receive any confirmation email or receipt or delivery date. After several emails and phone calls I could not get any satisfaction so I cancelled the order. 2 weeks later still no contact from customer support and still no refund . Their idea of customer support is to let you access their online customer forums which is full of unhappy customers bemoaning their shoddy products and lack of support. I will never buy a Sony product again.

Have been loyal to the Sony brand for 30 years. Bought an 85” Bravia TV which stopped working after 18 months. Got no support from the retailer and even less from Sony. Despite this seemingly being a fairly common problem (based on forums on the internet), I have been ignored. I no longer believe Sony to be the quality brand it once was and the customer service after care is a disgrace. Shame on Sony…. Lesson learned.

Bought Sony XAV-AX1000 car head unit. Stopped working after half an hour took back to retailer who replaced it and same happened again. Rang Sony tech help on hold for 2hours and call back facility doesn't work. Hopeless never buying Sony again

Warning! Never touch Sony refurbished product as there is catch!I bought Sony refurbished headphones from Sony ebay store and it died within warranty period. Sony said corrosion damage not covered by warranty although I clearly communicated I didn't cause the damage and it must have been damaged by previous owner before I received it. After I brought it to Fair Trading Sony willing to offer me another pair with discounted price for goodwill gesture only". I rejected their offer and now proceed to tribunal hearing.I never imagine Sony can behave such irresponsible way. Totally disappointed. Most of consumers won't go so far for a pair of headphones that's why Sony can bully insignificant consumer like me with its dominant power. I want to send message to Sony that there are still people willing to hold to their principles and defend their rights!"

Bring us PS Now! And enabling PSN region change! How many years since other markets got such services? Your pricing in PSN is already at a premium compared with US and Asia, yet lacking exclusive games, extras and media stuff. People like me wanted to support or have to support local businesses, but you got to do something, at least having a schedule. No excuse SONY ANZ team! I've been a loyal customer for more than 20 years, but I'm gradually losing my patience on this and that inconvenience purely because of your ignorance or being lazy, why XBOX/Nintendo/Steam can do and you can't? Trust I'm not the only one having this feeling. Heads up and keep up, SONY!

Once upon a time, this brand name was synonymous to quality. How unfortunate that it is no longer the case.It is not even 6 months since I bought a 75 inch TV and given the brand name, I had no two minds about selecting this brand. How wrong was I.The TV keep dropping the WiFi signal. Contacting support is a pain. Once I get through to them, they don't seem to have a clear solution for the same other than saying that their engineers are working on it. No clear answer comes out when you ask for a timeline. I am very doubtful if the issue can be fixed in 2022, given the snail pace at which their engineers work.That leaves me with an unusable TV. Thankfully, I live close to their Head Office in North Sydney and I am taking this 75-inch Goliath to their Head Office and dumping it there.
