No volvería a ir.

Nice clean easy to find with clean long drop. With little water tank which runs out after long weekend. Sites 1 &4 quite big. Worse thing I ended up in 3. It's a hill n everything was sliding while cooking on BBQ or sleeping. Site 7 afternoon sun. 8 is close to toilet. Small hand moveable caravan can fit. Not far from the site is cute little beach. Opposite camp its clay water. We had own shower n water Won't be coming back.

Hooded Plover campground is excellent, although campfires are not allowed (this would be because the dense bush surrounding the site) , gas heaters are fine, well worth a look and such a great experience.

stayed here last week - absolutely beautiful campsite. walking trails were amazing. lack of amenities but i mean you’re camping relatively remotely.

Great campsite, well worth it. Clean 'long drop' toilet, well defined camp sites, plenty of space between sites, easy walking tracks through the Mallee. Will certainly be camping here again.

A bit over priced, but the area and walks are great

Really nice campground in a beautiful national park. Carved into the dense Mallee scrub, decent distance between sites, and the scrub helps to provide privacy. The sites are well enclosed. Ground is sandy and easy to push pegs into. Campfires prohibited all year. Liquid or gas fires ok as long as it's not a total fire ban day.We followed the advice on wikicamps and got site 2 due to it being more sheltered from wind. Honestly I think most of the sites would've been fine, but some have a slope with no flat spots. The information when you book has everything you need to know. A few minutes walk to the toilet. Nothing drastic.Every long drop toilet will have an odour, but this was easily the nicest and cleanest long drop I've ever used. We'll certainly be coming back

A nice campground in the national park. Sites have enough space for larger vans or small motorhomes but look out for low hanging branches when manouvering.Large pothole directly on the first entry to the campground when we visited in the middle of August. Maybe better to take the second entry (counted from highway side).Close to the highway but very quiet nontheless.Be aware that the drop toilet is a few minutes walk away from the campsites and there is only one toilet together for this and the next campground down the road. A lot of mozzies around after rainfall.
