We’ve been going to The Good Dentist since moving to Newcastle and they have always taken such good care of us. All the staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Our youngest son had to have his first filling and Dr. Garreth McBride was amazing. My son felt comfortable the whole time and had a great experience! Highly recommend The Good Dentist for the whole family.

Yet again, fantastic service from Garreth and the team! The need for an unexpected molar extraction wasn't what I wanted to hear, but was identified as the best course of action, and it was done and dusted with a minimum of fuss there and then. I'm not the best of patients, get quite anxious from past experiences, but Garreth is understanding, gentle, and explains everything to a tee. The Good Dentist is the best, can highly recommend.

A very big thank you to the Garreth and The Good Dentist team. We recently brought our 6 year old in for his checkup who in the past was uneasy in going to the Dentist. Garreth and Sarah did a fantastic job in making him feel calm and at ease which allowed for a full checkup and clean and an overall positive experience. Super anxious patient with significant health/dental phobia here and I can confirm Garreth and the team are amazing! When booking the appointment the receptionist was understanding and listened to my concerns. There was a great vibe from the moment I stepped into the clinic and during the treatment Garreth made me feel in control. I was able to take breaks when I needed and as often as I needed without judgement and I was consulted through each step in the process. Garreth also gave me some great advice and put my mind at ease on a couple of concerns I had. 15/10 experience. Thanks again to the team - you made my day!

By far the most amazing Dentist I’ve ever been too. I had previously had a really bad experience at my last dentist and was recommended “The Good Dentist” by friends who were absolutely right. Have never felt more comfortable or welcomed at a dentist. Extremely thorough and the friendliest staff you’ll come by. Will be my dentist for life now. Thank you Garreth and you’re amazing team!

I needed an emergency filling and contacted Good Dentist as a new patient. Garreth found room for me at 9am the next day and had me done and dusted in an hour. Just amazing service. I also get some anxiety around dentist work but I didn't feel a thing! I couldn't believe it.Garreth showed how the 3d modelling tech worked, the various stages of the work on the tooth using pics, and explained everything in detail.Both my wife and two young girls have been in the few months since and they all loved it. My kids are quite literally asking when they can go back.Very highly recommended. It doesn't get much better than saying my entire family have had the best experience and care from Garreth and his team. Just superb.

Yesterday I had a dental implant put in by Gareth and after getting it done I wished I had taken the step so many years ago. I have had a titanium denture for almost 15 years and had always rationalized a reason not to get an implant - it would hurt too much or it would cost too much or something major could go wrong. The methods that the good dentist use are fantastic and the consultations provided are very honest and informative. The whole procedure was over and done before I even realized, and it was impossible to actually pick which tooth was the implant. I had spent the last 15 years never fully smiling in case someone was able to spot my denture but now I have my natural full smile back. If you have ever had doubts about getting this done I urge you to visit Gareth and his amazing team as it is so worth doing. Thanks for giving me my smile back (plus the gift of never having to remove a denture each time I clean my teeth).

I recently took my 3yr old son in to see Gareth at the Good Dentist for his first check up, and to get him used to going to the dentist from a young age. The staff made us feel very welcome and even put steam trains on the screen above the chair to help my son settle in for the check up and clean. My son was made to feel so comfortable he didn't want to leave (although this was mainly because of the screen ;-)). He was very excited to receive a sticker and tooth fairy certificate on leaving and will be more than happy to attend the Good Dentist again in the future. Thanks Gareth and team.

I highly recommend The Good Dentist. I have an extreme fear of the dentist. Jason and the team discussed every step with me so I knew what was happening. They made sure I was comfortable and supported. I’m very happy with my dental experience. No more fear of the dentist!

Always a pleasure to pop into The Good Dentist. I used to be anxious going for dental check-ups but Garreth and the team are so warm and friendly that I now feel at ease during every appointment.
