We found Brighton Homes after looking through multiple display villages all the way from Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast.Initially the team and sales people were very helpful however it started to become to much and felt pressured and constantly hassled and harassed with multiple daily phone calls, emails and voice messages as time went on.We paid our initial deposit and then the communication dropped off completely. Extreme to extreme!We struggled significantly last year with COVID and had some unfortunate circumstances beyond our control that meant we were no longer able to build our home.We tried to contact Brighton and emailed through with our situation.A week later we followed up as we hadn't heard back and had a female staff member be very passive aggressive to my husband.This behaviour was very distressing and unnecessary. I would definitely recommend treading carefully with this company to avoid disappointment.

We entered in to a preliminary contract with Brighton Hones in September 2021, but still no house handed over to us.Pre-construction was super slow due to the lack of staffs - I was able to have a color selection in March 2022 after paying the preliminary deposit in September 2021.Of course, building process has been slow too. I had a practical completion inspection almost 2 weeks ago, but it was not practically completed at all and the house was with plenty of defects, so many defect!! The house is supposed to be handed over to me next Tuesday (it is Saturday today) but there are still plenty of defects (still soooo many) and it not ready to move in at all. The final invoice has been paid to Brighton Homes, and I've already booked movers to move in to the new house because I need to empty my current house.Brighton Homes, if you are too busy to build many houses, control the number of new clients. The existing clients are still your clients. There are many of us who are building with Brighton Hones and waiting for their houses to be completed and handed over for long time. We have been paying for thousand dollars of mortgage interests each month for months and years for houses that we cannot move in. Respect your existing clients. We are human and people who need houses to live in, not just sources of your revenues.

Lately, we have been in and out various display homes in Gold Coast and Brisbane looking for a design that suits our needs and requirements for our new home build. Mind you, the journey was no easy task as we have to make comparisons and digest what the various builders have to offer in the market and the promotions available at that point in time.Finally, we decided to build with Brighton Homes as we found that one of their single storey designs do match our requirements (with a few floor plan changes made here and there).Our sales consultant, Jules Davis is a gem. She guided us all the way from day one we met and working together with her is a breeze. She is very professional and always giving valuable and top-notch advice. She replies all my queries and emails promptly. Besides her, Angelo is also very helpful and witty too. Whenever we need advice on floor plan changes, he works very fast and always comes out with very practical ideas to suit our needs thus taking our headache away. So far working with them is an enjoyable experience.

We began our journey with McDonald Jones, prior to turn becoming Brighton. We were incredibly impressed with the sales consultant who supported us in initial stages of the process. Troy was a real gem and was always supportive of our requests and requirements. We were able to change the plans significantly to build the home that we wanted, this for us was a massive plus and this was excellent service and support. This is where the amazing service stopped, once we signed the contract. The build process was not as smooth. From the onset we weren't advised of site start dates, there were inconsistencies about what was happening on site and communication was incredibly poor. We found that Brighton were reactive and never pro active. If we didn't access the site along the way, our house would've had errors that needed to be rectified prior to completion. Sadly, we have been in our house for 5months and despite trying to resolve an outstanding item on the hand over, we are constantly told the same message.. I don't do anything with that just pass it on. They seem to pass around your requests, but never action them. So frustrating that they don't value their customers time and worth. We had three project managers in our short time as a Brighton customer, all three of whom were trying to learn the system. This resulted in constant frustration. We found that Brighton sold themselves as a premium builder, but they didn't deliver in this in regards to quality and particularly service. You know that things aren't quite right when you get communication in September indicating your almost in your new home... No actually that happened 10weeks ago. Go to a cheaper builder, who is more likely to have better systems in place to support you with your build. Whilst we love our house, Brighton did not let life in for us... It was a draining process.

After looking at the many different options available for building my first home I settled on Brighton Homes as one of their designs met my needs and they are competitively priced. From the first time visiting the display homes right through to signing of contracts has been a pleasant experience.Bobby and Deb at Aura, Sunshine Coast, have been friendly and supportive throughout the whole process, offering invaluable insight and advice along the way. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and they are always available to answer any queries.I feel confident in my decision to build with Brighton Homes and look forward to seeing my new home become a reality.

They hide or misleading the information that they are part or also know as Mcdonald Jones Homes . I didn't like to build with Mcdonald Jones Homes again .very bad experience from Newcastle Mcdonald Jones Homes . Please tell all staff that show courage to disclose all true information . Anyway Thanks .

We recently purchased a house through Brighton. The communication and good service stops as soon as soon as you hand over your deposit. We have sent multiple emails and have made multiple phone calls after months of no communication to try and understand what is happening with the build of our house. Nobody returns our calls, nobody returns our emails and we have received absolutely no communication whatsoever from any staff member. My most recent call I made was last Wednesday (We were promised a call back on the same day) - it has been five days and still nothing. I followed up with an email on the same day. Still nothing. We have no idea what is happening, where we are at or what process we are up to. We were told for the third time that we would be given a different project coordinator - this was weeks ago. We have received absolutely no communication, and nobody will help us. For a >client< to hand you over an extremely large sum of money, and for you to then treat them the way we are being treated is gross negligence and absolutely terrible client care. We are feeling extremely disheartened and let down. I don’t recommend this company.(P.S - the sales staff member at the display home we purchased from was lovely and terrific. The Brighton Pays team is also wonderful. It’s unfortunate that the Brighton Homes team is such a let down).

We have been in our house for 4 months and there are still so many outstanding items. We have not heard anything from our Site Supervisor in months and we are sick of chasing!Once you hand over that final payment, they don't care!
