What a lovely little gem this place is!I cannot believe I have not been here before.After being told about this café/general storeWe decided to stop here for breakfast and a cuppa on our morning motorbike ride.We all ordered the big breakfast which was exactly that, BIG!All of them were cooked exceptionally well and the poached eggs perfectly done.Will definitely be returning

Had lunch Sunday with another couple. We all had fish. Very tasty. We then had nut sundaes terrific on a hot day.Returned again Monday with another friend and one of our friend's from Sunday. My husband and I both had steak sandwiches. Delicious!! Our friends' had schnitzels both enjoyed.Will be back again!!

Nice coffee, interesting place. Didn’t get to taste the food this time (highly recommended by friends) so looks like a return trip is on the cards

Some of the best food on The Fleurieu Peninsula! Great menu, awesome pizza, and voted Best Burgers on The Fleurieu.Service is exemplary, staff is always friendly.Smooth coffee and very good hot chocolate.

What a lovely surprise to enjoy.Full service eatery where are staff level of service is beyond expectations.I have driven by many times and it always seems to be well supportedThe meals that I saw looked delicious and there seemed to be smiles everywhere

This Cafe is off the beaten track but more and more people are discovering this gem in the beautiful old train stop at Finniss. The staff are enthusiastic, warm, welcoming and efficient. Food is good. Would like an alternative to rocket in the salad. Walker accessible. Greatly enlarged parking space. A bit of noise problem because of all the hard surfaces but a great atmosphere. Outside dining as well enhanced by the blues wrens and delightful bush surroundings. Bookings essential for lunch at this very successful popular destination. Thanks for all the birthday greetings from the staff.

So dropping in today on our way to victor for a late lunch. It was very busy, hard to get a park close to the building. Lovely and warm inside as you enter. Friendly staff ready to take your orders before you get a chance to even look at the menu. Ordered hot chocolates, fish and chips and chicken snitty and chips. First the hot chocolates were delicious with a real marshmallow. Chips on both plates were generous and very soft inside and a very light crunchy texture on the edges, just how i love it. A lovely garden salad with lots of cucumber but not enough lettuce for me but i love my lettuce and a tasty dressing over it. Now the chicken snitty was lovely and moist inside and a beautiful golden crunchy tasty outside, i was in heaven with my yummy gravy. Sadly the fish was a 50/50. It was cooked lovely inside but the batter was soft and chewy, maybe it was cooked too early and left in a baine marie but who knows. I would definitely be going back but not ordering the fish again. Ow and so glad I ordered extra gravy as i still ran out. Clearly a hit with all the older locals as it was flat out inside, so we chose to sit outside where it was quite.

Awesome little Seaside/Country Restaurant tucked away in the perfect peaceful location. It's busy here & for good reason! It's worthwhile making a reservation, as it's very popular. Good selection of Meals- well prepared & tasty. Staff are friendly & the service was very good. Sshh. . . Don't tell anyone!
