Though the young man was polite, his knowledge was limited, and his communication skills were not thorough. He omitted important information, which if I had known I would not have signed up. I was also sold a screen protector which doesn't fit my new phone properly and was told that is how they are. I know I'm the stupid one for thinking that Telstra has employees that are different! I've learnt my lesson and never again!

Terrible customer service experience! Staff were unprofessional and inexperienced. They committed to half an hour wait time, however this ended up being more than double that. One of the staff member kept talking directly at my husband even though I was talking (and it was my phone plan). This staff member also said that a particular phone was not available, but when another staff member checked, it was in storage. Considering changing from Telstra because of this experience.

NEVER FELT SO HUMILIATED IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!! I had the worst experience EVER. I’ve been to Telstra Eastgardens yesterday with my girlfriend and we just wanted to suspend our plan as we are going overseas TOMORROW. I know it’s possible because all of my friends did it and I asked twice in store and they said it’s possible. Actually, if you go to Telstra website, it says that I can suspend my plan for 90 days if I’m overseas. We arrived in the store around 3pm on 4th of December and there were about 5 staffs, including the “manager”, he’s so unprofessional and inexperienced that I doubt he’s really the manager there. I don’t know his name, but he said he’s from Iran, he has a big hair and wear glasses. He’s there everyday and he thinks he’s God.We spoke to some asian girl at first, and she didn’t even want to listen us and said it was impossible to suspend our plan, in a very rude way. Then, I asked to speak to the other asian guy, she called the manager. He came to us and we told him what we wanted and he said it was impossible too. He didn’t want to check, he just wanted us to leave the store. Then I asked to speak to the asian guy who always helps us and he is very kind. The manager was arguing with us, asking WHY we wanted talk to him if that was impossible bla bla bla. The asian guy came to us, he said it was possible and he was going to help us. My girlfriend found the article on the Telstra website saying that we could suspend our plan and she showed to the manager, he was very surprised with the information. The asian guy was helping us and the manager and the asian girl were around us and my girlfriend asked them to leave in a very polite way, we wanted solve our problem just with the asian guy. And everything started. He raised his voice saying that he was the manager and we had to leave if he wanted, saying that he was not helping us anymore, turned the computer off and called 4 securities to kick us out. I told him if he’s the manager, he has to know the information or even check and tell us. When the securities came, he was telling his side of the story and he said that he told us “as far as I know, it’s not possible” BUT THATS A LIE! He didn’t say that! He said it was impossible straight away and DIDN’T WANNA HELP US! Also, I have the Upgrade and Protect and wanted to exchange my phone to the new iPhone 14 Pro Max, the asian guy told me that he just had one in the back of the store in a silver color; I accepted that and he came back saying he had a confusion and the phone was sold out. The manager was there and told him to DO NOT give me the phone (before everything starts). I called the police and after two hours the police came, didn’t do anything of course and I’m feeling VERY bad cause I spent almost 3 hours there, no one solved my problem, I’m traveling tomorrow and I have a lot going on.When my girlfriend was leaving the store, one of the securities told her “FUCK YOU, YOUR BITCH” and pushed her elbow. That’s not right. I’m feeling that is a case of racism or homophobia and there was a violence against women AND NO ONE IS CARING ABOUT IT! I’m tired of always being treated like this. I want JUSTICE!

A long time Vodafone customer, today 01DEC22 we decided to give Telstra a try for the first time ever since our landline with Telecom back in 1995. The service at the Telstra Eastgardens shop was superb thanks to the helpful and attentive can-do approach given by Steve.Steve goes beyond expectations with swift yet kind service and is representing your brand so well that I've come to start questioning the flat, uninspired and clueless service I usually get from Vodafone.

Went in to get a physical sim replacement and the lady told me to come back in 3 hours because there was a queue. Seriously for a 2 minute job? It's 2023 and if Telstra dont yet have a process to deal with simple tasks like this then why are they charging so much? I hope the store manager reads this. I found it easier to cancel the service than try and waste copious time to run around the shopping centre waiting for a sim card. I wasnt offered an appointment either. Nps score? -100. Thanks for nothing.

Jerry is rude, uneducated, cunning, arrogant & not professional very unethical shop to deal with. Jerry can twist his stories around after offending me then he said he would kick me out of his telstra store. I told him by all means to kick me out of the store if i am in the wrong as though there are surveillance cameras inside the store to determine who is right & who is wrong. A major complaint to the one up telstra team in relation to my incident today. Telstra should not lose customers because of poor store management. Just look at the Telstra eastgardens reviews from other customers speaks for themselves!
