Marigold Cottage

Located in the town of little Hartley, about 30 mins from blue mountains. Great place for a quiet relaxing time or a weekend gateway.Has 4 bedrooms and an outdoor area with a BBQ. Plenty of parking. The only thing we found as a drawback was, if you have a large group there is only 2 bathrooms. There is a cafe nearby and a pizzeria.

Very well presented quiet accommodation. Very clean. A great deal of thought has gone into the house to make a stay easy and comfortable. Very professional. The most pleasing thing is that the house is good value for money. Many places these days charge a fortune and don't bother with repairs or cleanliness. Marigold cottage is just the opposite. Owners communication was very good and property systems well explained . Well done to this buisness.

Excellent accommodation in the beautiful Hartley region, with big open grassy spaces to wander and the quietest of evenings Marigold Cottage is the perfect escape. A large spacious home, beautifully furnished and pristinely clean our group of five adults and a dog had a wonderful weekend. Look out for the sparring kangaroos in the back paddock, the singing Llamas next door and the colourful birdlife.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, we had a lovely time staying at Marigold Cottage for the celebration of my mother's 90th birthday.Location was ideal for us - just 15 minutes from my sister's place in Lithgow, and only a couple of minutes off the Great Western Highway.The cottage is comfortable, with good sized bedrooms (including a huge master, with ensuite with step free access and grab rails), two living areas + a dedicated dining room and tons of outdoor space for the dogs to run around (good secure fencing). Beds were super comfy and warm (important given that the temperatures stayed quite low). We saw kangaroos, and heaps of birds (eastern rosellas, crimson rosellas, gang-gang and sulphur crested cockatoos).The owner had left breakfast provisions, some snacks and a kind 90th birthday gift for my mother (she was delighted).Highly recommended.

Marigold Cottage is a hidden gem! Such a beautiful place to stay with our teenagers and two dogs. The cottage was huge! Comfy beds and we noticed the little touches that made our stay so nice. We were left some treats and small breakfast food on arrival.Lots of lovely places to nestle in with a good book in front of the fire in winter and we loved taking morning strolls in the huge garden with the Kangaroos roaming and lots of beautiful wildlife galore. Really close to many Cafes and the Historic Hartley Village. I didn’t really want to rave too much because it may get booked out when we book again. I recommend this for a weekend or week long stay. Great place.
