I have not been at a centerlink for years. Had to go into updated my details and verify my identity so I can use the online my gov account. I was there at 8 am only had to wait an hour to be seen. Don took all my docs told me its updated and gave me code to use online. Only for me to find out that he hadn't bothered to update my address so now I have to go back another a day so they can update my bloody address and I get new code!!!! How useless can a service be... and how inefficient and inept can a worker be!

Rowville Centrelink customer service is not really helpful. I company my mother to help her for some stuffs in centerlink, she can't speak in English, the customer service ask my mother to read and answer covid-19 screening stuffs, but because they don't have in the language that my mother can read, and they don't allow me to translate it, they rejected us. Even they don't offer me to represent my mother just reject us at the enterence really disappointing and frustrating.

Disgraceful staff attitude. Make people jump through hoops for a simple request. Shut this useless place down and redirect everyone to Dandenong - they are absolutely brilliant there.

When i called Centrelink through the phone, one of the staff members who was an Iranian woman spoke to me in Farsi and asked me the most personal question that is not even part of the Centrelink protocol. She was rude, nosy and completely unprofessional. Kept dragging my question which was a simple one and made the whole problem much bigger than it needed to be. She needs to be fired.

Staff at Rowville make people jump through hoops when they could so easily help with things that actually take two seconds. Told they are short staffed and too busy so the wait for a two second print out will be a very long time. Plenty of staff sitting at desk and only one customer waiting. It's a joke. One lady needed to simply hand them a form but she was exactly 1 min late from closing time so staff wouldn't quickly unlock the door for her to pass the form. Something very off with the training/staff rules.

My experience was great. The lady at the check in counter (who’s name I don’t know) was really polite and tried to get my job done right then and there. But it required more work. So she put me through to another lady named Kate who was super nice. I saw earlier that she was really nice to other people as well. She didn’t mess around with her work and got my work done in about 5 minutes. All in all I only had to be there for 10-15 minutes.

Omg what happened to simple..To get a part of a refund that was bpaid I had to go home call there services to send a receipt to then fill out paperwork and send it into Medicare.. what a waste of paper energy and time .What happened to going in and refund gets put into your account ...

Just based on my experience today with my Mum. Mum has Alzheimers and dementia and I told that to the security guard and he was just rude when asking Mum questions and directing her where to go. I get he has to ask the questions but a bit more compassion would have been nice.
