I just popped in today for a quick coffee and bite to eat, but I was blown away by how friendly everyone was! Such a cool spot too and would love to come back for a live gig or Irish night. Great coffee and banana bread - can’t wait to visit again :)

Hidden gem of Mooloolaba. Great coffee and lovely staff. We’ve been getting our morning coffee from the Bucking Seahorse during holidays over last four years. Never fails. Thanks again for April 2023 and we’ll see you again soon!

Bucking Seahorse Cafe
We spent Friday night at a 60th birthday party. The service was amazing, next level. We were never left without a glass of water or a drink and the guys somehow remembered what we were drinking. The food was delicious and drinks wonderful. Fantastic entertainment and the duo had just the right noise level and played great songs. The outside area was excellent as well if you needed to get some fresh air. I would highly recommend the Bucking Seahorse.

My favorite Coffee House of all time. Fantastic coffee but just as important fantastic staff. Always feel welcomed. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast and pleasant. The owners are just good people working hard to make a living but they do it with a smile and a great outlook. Just a good place to go to be around good honest people, great service and great coffee. Highly recommended.

Not sure if this place has recently changed management but they used to have the best 2 choice (syrup or powder) for chai latte around. Not today. It was a power that didn't dissolve properly so I choked on the last mouthful.Not my job to say how to run a business but if you're out of turkey, breads etc before lunchtime and Coles is within a short stroll don't tell me that you are short staffed (3 in the cafe) to go buy some. They offered chicken as a replacement for turkey (same price), had to eat white bread then he smothered my sandwich in salt without my consent. I had to rinse my mouth out twice, brush my teeth and still have to put up with the salt taste an hour later. Never going back which is sad, I'm a local that lives 2 streets away.Update: I went back and everything was much better. Still not keen on their chai latte powder but Ill definitely come back and try a coffee!

Wow, love this place. Came across it on our trip to Mooloolabah. The best coffee around. Thank you Mick, Laura and Kate for making us feel so welcome in your little business whilst away on holidays. Very homely feel.Also this place is a must for live music. We sat and listened to DaddyFrank play the guitar and sing on a Friday night. It was like he was singing just for us.He played our requests as we drank beers and cocktails.This place is a hidden gem.Highly recommend!!!!

What a great place. The best coffee in Mooloolaba and super—tasty croissants. We stayed just across the road for four weeks and went to the Seahorse every morning to get breakfast- it was our morning treat and they never let us down! Mick and the crew - you are legends!
