Herb Faust Food

Herb Faust Food provided the catering for our wedding at Houghton's Winery on 15 February 2019 and it was delicious and amazing. We had a number of guests with allergies, however and Deanna and her team worked well to ensure everyone was happy with their meals. We cannot recommend Herb Faust Food highly enough!

Herb and his team went above and beyond to deliver the most delicious food for our wedding guests and us. Right from our very first contact, through to the tasting, final decisions and delivery on the night, we had full confidence in their creativity, capability and flexibility. Tara and Deanna were always responsive and helpful when we contacted them and Herb was so friendly and had such a positive attitude. Their menu is unique and inventive, the produce and suppliers they use are fresh and thoughtfully chosen, and their food is prepared carefully and generously. So many of our guests and other wedding vendors made a point of telling us about the impressive quantity and quality of food on the night. And this was all delivered professionally and calmly even after power went out in our venue’s kitchen! I would highly recommend the Herb Faust team to anyone planning an event. If you’re thinking of a Swan Valley Wedding, Herb Faust at Houghton is a true food artist. From first meeting Herb, we found him and his team to be warm and charismatic. He took the time to personally take us through his menu at the tasting. We ended up opting for 2 hours of canapés followed by a banquet style 3 course sit down dinner. We had so many compliments and grateful wedding guests, it seemed each dish we had picked was really hitting the spot. Even our vegetarian, vegan and pregnant guests were well looked after. The only complaint was that there may have been too much food! Dinner was a real highlight of our wedding and we are ever so grateful to Herb & his team for bringing their magic to our special day. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

High quality food, gorgeous staff and crazy good presentation! I have personally hired Herb Faust Food to cater weddings whilst I ran my own wedding planning business and loved them so much, I had them cater my own. I have been lucky enough to taste many of Herbs delicacies and count him one of best chefs in Perth, as well as being one of the loveliest humans going. Check out Houghton's in the Swan Valley as well, Herb, Deanna and their team are currently the cafes caterer and I recommend this for a lazy Sunday afternoon on the lawn. Wish I could give 10 stars, 5 is quite simply not enough.

We were lucky enough to have Herb Faust and his team look after my fathers 70. The food was simply Amazing, great team serving and all run by a pretty dam good guy. Thanks so much guys.
