The Cutting
Honest winemaking is at its core! This small scale vineyard shows true integrity from its roots, to the quality of grapes then through to the boutique wine production. A MUST visit when venturing to the Barossa. The Cinsault in particular is a fantastic expression of this little known southern french variety that will leave you wanting more and more....and more with every mouthful. Had an amazing wine tasting experience with Belinda giving us a behind the scenes look at what goes in smaller wine production and the passion that comes with that. This was our second visit to the Barossa and was easily the best vineyard we visited. Will be recommend The Cutting to anyone who visits the Barossa.

The cutting is a very small new winery. My partner and I did the vertical tasting at The Cutting. It has been my favourite wine tasting I've ever been to. The wine tasting was run by Belinda the wine maker and her passion for wine shines through the tasting. She explained a lot about the wines and grapes as well as bringing a great conversation. We tried the Outlier Grenache as well as three different vintages of the Shiraz. Belinda was generous with her servings and helped us through tasting the different vintages of the same wine, which was a very enlightening.

Wonderful morning with Belinda, she will take you through the process off the wine and her knowledge off the land the vine's are on is interesting especially how they got the name The Cutting. Wines are really good and good value.
