For the positive comments, all I can say is, either your repair has done good by luck, or just being fooled just because it looks “new” or “okay”. Probably most 5 stars review are friends or dummy accounts trying to boost the stars in review. Shall you find a third party professional to assess their jobs done in details, you will find how dark this place can go in term of repair works, nevertheless, not to forget, they are an authorized insurance repairer if you know what I mean. I have no doubt Gabba might be good decade ago, and surely it is not what it was. To anyone who really loves their car, especially those in their first claim like I did, who don’t know what to do or decide, I would strongly suggest you take a look at my case before considering sending it to Gabba. In the reluctant event of my 5 days old brand new car from a Not-At-Fault accident for smash repair, I was given every assurance that the car will be returned as per brand new condition which is logical. So, due to the parts had to backordered, I waited nearly 3 months before I got a date for collection.A day prior collection, I called and confirmed, so I took a day off as the time was not assured, they just simply can’t as they have to assess on the day itself before knowing the time will be ready. However on the day of collection, I was called that the car was not ready. They did notify me another date for collection, which again, time cannot be assured. I do respect each company has their own operation system, and I did appreciate they wanted to fix it right, but it looped for like 4 times, just imagine the inconvenience caused for the time I have taken off from my work, for the time not assured. Also spoken with their so called “manager”, whom was rude, and not willing to help, the very typical “sorry, there is nothing I can do”, whilst both reception ladies desperately trying to help, whom I believe they deserve the title better.Upon collection, it looks “okay” as I am not professional enough to assess if satisfactory job been done. Took it for a wash and took a picture to my mechanic. Spotted was the head lights were not aligned. He reckoned I send the car over. The nightmare followed:- radar sensor circuit clipboard was not clipped and mounted, was dangling inside the engine bay;- air filter box broken and not clipped properly;- exterior panels were not aligned- interior panel repair was done horribly but so called to industry standard- screws were loose; etc.So I sent it back right the next day, they said they would fix it. Then, I sent back to my mechanic again and worse:- almost all panels were not aligned and one was so tight it scratched the driver door;- radar sensor circuit clipboard was zip tied!!!- interior panel repair improved but not to new car standard, more to that, if it can be improved, why don’t get it right the first time?!- And more screws found loose, etc.Small deal huh? Not only it looped again, more problems arose:- exterior panels were still not aligned;- windscreen vipers were off range;- now screw went missing; As I sense frustration and revenge from the repairers, the cleanliness condition returned was freaking horrible, do remember I sent for a car wash before, more to that - secondary damages!!!- Window weather shields were scratched;- Fog light cover was scratched;- Side mirror cover was scratched;- Car key casing was scratched; (witnessed myself few times they just throw to tray without care)- Steering wheel leather was scratched; etc.Once again, the car was 5 days old before sending to Gabba. It is highly unlikely that such damages would have pre-existed as it too, acknowledged by the insurance assessor. However, “This is the best I can do, good bye” was all I got from the repairer as I showed them the car key. Photos I took were so much I can only select few. Also do note, I did provided them more than sufficient opportunities. All I can say is, this repair center is a typical “insurance repairer”, very unprofessional. Do think twice before sending to them.

Arrived on a normal business day Thursday 6th April. As they had asked me to drop by to get one more photo. Turns out they closed up at 2pm because Easter Friday was the next day but neglected to add that to there trading hours on Google or tell me on the phone when they spoke to me. Considering its an hour turn around for me not happy.

DO NOT send your car to Gabba Collision (GC) for repair or service! To say that my father and I had a horrible experience with this so-called repairer is an understatement. Their lack of customer service and quality workmanship is appalling to say the least. Due to their utter incompetence, we had to take the car back to them not once, not even twice but four times! My elderly father had a no-fault prang in April 2021, so his insurer NRMA sent the car for repair to GC (NRMA preferred repairer) and we collected it on 30 June 2021.Upon collection, we weren't informed that the rear rego plate was missing. We then had to purchase new rego plates but we couldn't put the rear plate on because the plate bracket was missing, which GC would have known but didn't bother to tell us.It was raining the following day so we turned on the rear windscreen wiper but we found that it had been incorrectly installed. The wiper moved in the wrong direction (downward anti-clockwise) scratching the back black panel. The next day, we found that the Centre High Mount Brake Light and the Start / Stop Function were not working. Then after the break light was fixed, we found that the right reserve light had stopped working. We then took the car for service to another service provider and we were told that the entire rear plate light unit was missing. Took the car back to GC and their excuse was that they were waiting for the unit to be delivered but mysteriously, it just happened to have arrived that day. I doubt they would have told us had I not contacted them about it.And you'd think that surely things couldn't get any worse. But when I told GC's workshop manager, Rob about our terrible experience with GC, his response was, Things happen

Came to get my grill replaced after a minor collision. While they fixed my grill, they for some reason took out my break lights and somehow managed to break/lose the clips on the engine cover that now does not sit flush under the bonnet. Would leave a 0 star review but unfortunately google won’t allow!

Thank you so much to John and Adam for helping me out and fixing a dent in my car with such speed and humility. I was in desperate need of a repair to be done quickly and they went out of their way to help me on short notice. I really appreciate it! Will be coming back here and have already recommended their services to family and friends.

Absolute disaster! It took six months to get my car fixed because they kept forgetting to order parts- at one point the day before pickup they admitted they forgot to order a bumper and it would be another 6 weeks! How could you not notice a massive bumper was missing?!I first rejected the car because it was a basket case, then the second time they refused to let me inspect it and said I must take it now. It’s insane!Communication is nil and you must chase them on everything. The car is missing parts, has unrepaired damage, bodily fluid stains from the thief, and parts literally fell off at the car wash.I’ve lodged formal complaints with my insurer and neither of us can get a straight response from them. The owner refuses to engage and instead gets their receptionists to call. I don’t blame them for being ashamed.I could go on at length but the simple fact is avoid this place. Would eagerly bring any of these points up with management if they would call or email…

Haven't got my car fixed yet but I can already feel it's a good place for the repair as staff there are very good and open up with the way they chat with their customers.

Excellent customer service for smash repair for my parent’s vehicle. they were very respectful of my elderly parents and focused on the most practical and cost effective options. They also assisted me with a minor repair which they did not charge me for and which was excellent in quality. In particular a shout out to Garth and also the staff on the desk - very helpful and responsive. Thank you for your great service.
