KAL Child Care

After reading about KAL, their passion for quality, caring, family oriented centres, not interested in the large returns and the directors passion for children and their importance on our future. I was excited when they took over the management of the childcare. I’m not impressed as a parent at all. Like most companies they want to change things. KAL say they are a quality caring boutique, family owned business yet KAL stopped FRESH daily made meals from their on site kitchen and now buy in pre-made food. We were told that it actually costs more to buy the food in. That money could go to the kids! New learning resources for the excellent staff. Extra activities for the kids, yoga, dance, language classes ect. A facelift especially the outdoor area.. better use of the space. The centre opens at 6am and there is nothing for kids to eat before morning tea!! That’s a long time for kids to wait. Previously toast was always available till 7am. Even though I make breakfast everyday it was very reassuring that this was available when they don’t eat breakfast. Now gone, not really caring about the kids. KAL changed apps. Most parents can’t sign their kids in! It never works. If you have an IPHONE you can’t see photos of your kids uploaded to the app! It’s better for the company and owners of the centres. KAL promotes how good their own state-of-the-art portal for owners is but not the families who pay for their kids to be there. Your app doesn’t work and a little review check would of told you the XAP app isn’t good! The little things count. Just like kids you can’t put them all in the same box! You need to adapt to the area and the families. Our kids are not just money makers for your company. KAL you are not what you promote yourself to be!
