Michael did a good job in replacing an outdoor stairway and fixing part of a balcony. The job was done on time and priced fairly. He was quite responsive to my questions.

We have been trying to get in touch with Michael for almost 2 months, by phone, text and email. The 2 top strainer wires on our fence have become quite loose. Michael will not return any form of communication.

I wish that I could have had the same experience as the other people including Michael’s family members that have given 5 stars.I should have known at the start when I sent off my deposit and about two months after he was meant to start Michael said that he forgot to include labour in his quote. I accepted the new rate no questions asked. Michael then forgot to organise the window. That he was meant to install. Again I rolled with the punches.I have to say the finished product was not too bad. Not great but reasonable. Although throughout the entire process I had to chase and chase as he kept not showing up when he said he would. Not to mention the fact that he kept going well over budget. I think that he may need to stick to fencing as he has no idea when it comes to renovations.He said that he was struggling to get work so I said that I would use him again to do a roof over my outdoor entertaining area. I accepted the quote ages ago. He said he would order the materials and start at the start of Feb. I have left message after message, text after text and email after email with no reply.After this experience I would never recommend MCI for anything. I think that Michael’s complete lack of communication shows that he is in well over his head.

Michael completed building a new outdoor deck for my mother. She cannot fault his workmanship, and would highly recommend him and his business to anyone. He was punctual and a pleasure to deal with. Mum looks forward to enjoying her new outdoor area.
