Birdsville Tourist Park

An oasis in the desert.After driving (so far) 3000 km in a charity drive we are staying tonight in a 4 berth cabin.Absolutely amazing.2 bedrooms, sitting area with TV and adjoining kitchen (and dining table).Fully air conditioned.This could be proudly replicated in any town and be the very best accommodation in that town.I would recommend unreservedly and with total confidence.

The deluxe cabins are great, well designed with ample room for a family at a great price. The quality is first rate with every thing thought off. Certainly on of the best places we stayed at during our Australian tour. The reception staff are friendly and professional. Cheapest coffee in the outback!

Awesome job by the staff noting 11000 extra people came through Birdsville for the bash. Well organised and very spacious non-powered sites at the time.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Amenities were kept clean during our stay.Will be back.

Great outback park- Friendly & Knowledgeable staff. 10/10 would recommend!Showers, Toilets & Laundry were all immaculate. It was pretty full when we stayed, but no shortage of amenities or hot water.

Trust me this place is worth it for a shower alone.We camped here before heading into the Simpson Desert. When we returned after many days of camping without a shower, we each happily paid $5 just to have a shower.We set up camp elsewhere on our return given the Big Red Bash was happening and it was booked out.Get a spot by the billabong!

Called up on approach from the Big Red Bash (Friday 8th) and asked if they had any availability - man said OK then went to register us but as we only wanted 1 night he said they had no availability.We turned up anyway just after 5pm and eyeballed 12 empty powered sites and a heap of unpoweredLadies at reception had no problem in having us however told us there are NO powered sites available - I explained our solar setup isn't working and we saw 10.or more empty powered sites - they said sorry they are all full.. in the morning they were still empty and at 12 still available plus at least another 12 or so empty.this place doesn't want your business id suggest camping on the river

Amazing 5 night stay over the race carnival. Magnificent staff - most accommodating and generous with their assistance with our group of 4 sites. Nice sized sites, could handle the rain and amenities sufficient

Love love loved it here!! What a fantastic park!! Omg the amenities were so clean! The kitchen is next level!! Will definitely be returning to beautiful birdsville!

Just Simple accommodation and caravan park. Great camp kitchens.
