I drove 40 mins in rain and traffic to get some biscuits from this bakery. After waiting patiently for 10 mins I was served by a really rude lady who told me to “hurry up there is customers behind you”. There was 3 people behind me and 3 of you serving. I was extremely disappointed and saddened by this experience as I am a customer and should have been valued for my purchase as well. As it is Ramadan I refrained from replying to her rude comment. I have left this review as constructive criticism, if they ever see it.

Menzil has the Best baklava we have had anywhere in years! not too dry and not an overly sweet syrup. It was exceptional! Their biscuit selection is excellent too! Their chocolate shortbread biscuits that look like ice cream scoops are the BOMB. i recommend them without hesitation. Service was really good too! I don't live in the area but will make trips just for this bakery! I don't have photos because it was devoured in minutes. Don't change Menzil!

Good selection of bread, love the simit (the circular bread with sesame seeds) and a good selection of sweets too.Found myself to be more of a regular in the past couple of months and my family has been going on/off for at least the past 10 years or more. The comments about bad service are quite strange as this was never the case for me.For context, one of the busiest days I've witnessed was just after the Eid prayer - and they handled it remarkably well and yet still having a friendly approach (in fact, one of the workers said, an I paraphrase the owner has said no one will go without simit. Everyone will get their simit" - fantastic - felt like I was in a bakery in the homeland). They also have EFTPOS / paywave etc - so you can tap and pay (there is a fee they charge to cover their costs which is only fair). As an improvement - they could consider having a barista to serve coffee (currently they have a machine which is quite convenient) - however this is not critical (I'd rather they continue with the great bread). For further context

Ordered cake for my daughter's birthday for 13th January and paid money on 10th January, when I went to pick the cake on 13th they said baker forgot to make the cake, and they don't have any birthday cakes left over for the day very bad service, irresponsible and careless.

I went yesterday on the 15th of April 2023 to buy some of their product, it is what I have uploaded here of photo. It tasted really bad and it smelled too. After taking one bit of it I felt sick in the stomach. How can you sell such product that it tasted like more than 7 days ago sitting in your shop. Shame on you

Great variety of sweets. Always fresh and have never been disappointed. They are always friendly and helpful. I am a regular here and their Turkish bread is by far the best. Simit is to die for. If you are in the area then you must visit this store.

A good range of Turkish bread and sweets. The Zatar simit was great, full of spices and flavour. Wasn't able to get Turkish coffee though perhaps shut during the fasting month. Service was average as didn't come across particularly warm. All good as it was a quick transaction.
