I could not believe the beauty of this place. This surely is one of Blue Mountains best kept secrets. Note - have good tires and bring a 4wd !! :) Well worth the bumpy ride.

Fantastic place off the beaten track...literally with about 25km of dirt road which is a little difficult but not impossible for 2wd but no problem for SUV or 4wd there is a fairly easy 900m walk down to the look out but make sure you wear good shoes as there are plenty of loose rocks at times and footing can be a little uneven. The view at the look out over Lake Burragorang and the Blue Mountains is definitely worth it. There is a car park and a toilet. Don't forget to check out the hollowed out rock called Battleship Tops about 6kms back up the road

Incredible view of the glamours of the Blue Mountains. It's a journey to get there though, so sedans and hatchbacks will have a harder time, rather than SUVs and 4WDs

Fantastic views out here and well worth the trip out. Watch out as snakes in summer may be present and we came across 2, just make noise and you’ll be fine. Suggest a suv as the road is not well maintained and a bit rough.

My favourite view in the blue mountains and high ranking contender for favourite place in Australia. Compared to other lookouts in the mountains, less people come here due to its location but partially because people don’t know it’s here. As with any place If you time it right they’ll be nobody else there apart from you. The sunrise and sunset here is amazing, even with rain or misty weather it looks stunning...photographers dream. If you climb up to the left of the fenced lookout you’ll be able to get an even better view BUT this is not an official path, it’s on the edge of the cliff at times and one slip or trip could end badly so I would advise not to go up this way if you’re not physically capable, or have kids/family with you. Either way I hope you like heights!!This lookout requires a semi capable vehicle as it’s a 40min drive off the main road through bushland and although the road isn’t challenging, you’re not going to want to take anything lower than an SUV down unless you love stones small stones chilling your undercarriage and hate your car. There is also minimal to non Existent signal here(Telstra) so be conscious of this....I’ve driven down here before many times and often never seen anyone else for hours....and on one occasion I’ve helped someone stranded with a flat tyre who had been there for hours worried nobody would come along before dark.

The view is very stunning. We also see some huge iguanas and smaller skinks. Just the gravel road condition is poor. I have to slow down under 30kph most of the time.

This place is out of this world! 800m walk from the parking lot, and you see one of the most beautiful scenery in the world. If you walk a littke bit further up from the lookout, it's gonna be even more beautiful...
