They are very open to your comments, good and bad. No offence takenMy Barramundi was fabulous. The skin was crispy. The salad was great. My friend had roasted kale cesear salad. We found the kale was too salty. When we told them, they gave us on the house a really loverly gesture. Thank you

The cafe is good. The place was neat, the service was good, and the food was tasty. So, 4 stars to the cafe.If you're sitting inside, reservation is needed and you will be attended frequently. No reservations for seats outside and it will be self service.Buses stop 1 km from the cafe. You have to walk 20 min. There are fences around the cafe and the area due to renovations and this is going on for 2 yrs. So, the beautiful view of the Sea is blocked.The major attraction of this cafe was the sea view and the Sydney National Harbour behind the cafe. They are closed. Google maps and Opal trips don't show this and it was a surprise as well as disappointing to learn this after reaching there.

Fabulous Mother's Day experience. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco and a table overlooking the harbour - what a view. Staff were efficient and attentive at all times. The food was varied and flavoursome and I especially liked the portion sizes which left us all feeling very satisfied but not struggling to move because we were too full! All round beautiful lunch and would certainly go again.

A tad disappointed with this place all up. More can be done with this fantastic venue, and it's sad to see Bella Vista Manly serve up terrible food in such an excellent location with great views.Coffee was good when it came out at first so I was very excited.Menu was a tad strange. No real brunch options for what is really a brunch location... it's more like a dinner menu of heavy food items.I ordered the salad and specifically mentioned that I did not want pancetta. However when it came out I noticed a few stray pieces of pancetta - looked like it had been picked off. Moreover the whole leaves and unpitted olives made for an awkward eating experience. Salad literally went everywhere. Also taste wasn't something I'd write home about. At almost $30 for this salad, it was I think the worst salad I've had in my year of having different food around Australia, including in more remote parts of Australia where talented labour is harder to find than 5min from Manly beach.The burger was fine, except that it was terribly, extremely salty. Chips were good, but struggled to undo the salt burger.Separately I noticed the men's toilet was basin was blocked. As I was leaving, mentioned it to thr wait staff in hope of someone tending to it. To my surprise I got told the wash basin was meant to stay blocked... well then!

A busy cafe, with outstanding views, indoor and outdoor dining, plenty of paid parking, an extensive menu, and reasonable pricing commensurate with the location and views. Adjacent to the Defence of Sydney Memorial, the Memorial Walkway, and a short walk to the Fairfax Walking Trail as part of the North Head Nature Reserve. Well worth a visit, and a meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We'll be back!

Second time there remains an excellent venue. The food and beverages are top shelf would highly recommend. The view an added bonus. Thanks for the experience almost forgot the price sits well as well.

Fantastic food with great view on Sydney! I can really recommend! We ordered Burger and pasta with seafood, both were delicious!
