The Green Elephant
This centre had difficulty in retaining staff, which resulted in the shutting down of our preschool room with only 3 weeks notice. The children were not adequately prepped for primary school and it left many working families in a difficult position.I will further add that the communication around this was appalling from the centre. We were not given the courtesy of a phone call, instead a blanket email at 8pm on a weeknight. When we tried to have conversations around what had happened, the staff gave us impersonal and generic answers like the one you see in the below reply.

My experience here has been amazing, the staff are all friendly and show such care towards my daughter.The centre has great communication with the parents and we are updated on everything and have clear communication if any outbreaks at the daycare which I really value. They also take the time to ask us advice on things they see different about our daughter behaviour, food, sleep etc.We have moved out of the area however this place is such a nice environment I will keep my daughter there due to people and the facilities available for her.

Our experience of the Green Elephant Beaconsfield is fantastic. Great online app, educators are wonderful and informative, help my little one in several areas, and always happy to go to TGE. Highly recommend the way the activities and input from parents and communication is amazing plus it’s a great centre, nice and open with fresh air.

They make staff stay behind for meetings and parent teacher events outside of normal working hours without pay these meetings go for hours this on top of woefully low wages makes it hard for staff to stick around
