For anyone looking for crating assistance whether it be for small cargo through to large machinery, I cannot recommend a company more highly. Everything seemed okay until delivery and then I was threatened (twice!).[UPDATE: Multiple staff from Cases and Crates left 5 star reviews on their own business listing in order to manipulate the Google reviews.]At first the communication seemed okay but the issues began with delivery. I initially received a quote for 6 large planter boxes including delivery to the home address that I had supplied (delivery was $150).The courier driver arrived at my home and quickly became aware that I didn't have a forklift at home. The truck did have a tailgate and pallet jack so that it could be taken off the by hand (with an additional $110 fee). I called the owner of Cases and Crates to sort out the issue but he quickly became abrupt and appeared extremely annoyed over the phone that I didn't have a forklift to accept delivery. He expressed that it was my fault that I failed to tell him that I didn't have one at home at the time of ordering.I offered to split the cost of a tailgate delivery ($55 each) given that I had not advised him that I did not have a forklift at home and because he was the one responsible for organising the freight. I thought this was a reasonable compromise but he refused my offer and threatened that it if I didn't pay the $110 tailgate fee he would return my 6 x 80kg large planter boxes and I would be forced to collect them myself from the depot. During this conversation he hung up on me twice. I called him back in an attempt to discuss the delivery issue and explained that I was not aware that his business primarily dealt with commercial clients with forklifts as it was the first time I had purchased anything from his company.Given that I had no alternative option and the owner was not willing to compromise, I accepted to pay the additional $110 for delivery. The driver needed assistance so I proceeded to climb onto the back of the track and manually drag the 6 giant planters off myself. I later advised the owner that I had to lift them off the truck myself despite paying $260 for delivery and he did not seem to care.I did not receive any communication from Cases and Crates for almost 3 months. I then received an email from accounts threatening legal action for not paying the $110. Leading up to this email I had not seen any invoices and when I went through my inbox I was made aware that their accounting software and domain was not correctly set up which was causing Gmail to mark their emails as spam and phishing emails.As soon as I received email communication from the owner in regards to the outstanding invoice, I replied within 16 minutes and advised that I would fix up payment that evening. I then explained to the owner that I had not received his emails and that next time it would be better received if he or his accounts team would pick up the phone to check on payment rather than threatening legal action upon customers. Again, the owner came across as very agitated in his emails despite that I had advised that the payment would be made the same evening. I tried to provide some feedback on my experience but the owner replied I’m going to block your emails now

Excellent services and products from Chris and the team. These are the guys to use to have your equipment packaged correctly. The cases and crates they produce are top notch and will ensure your gear survives rough carriers and roads.

They made me two beautiful plant boxes 4 years ago for my shop, they are not only still standind, but hold and look like they did 4 years ago. Excellent quality and craftmanship! Would not hesitate to use them again, they not only do crates!!
