Saddler's Creek Wines
This was the best winery experience we’ve ever had! Make sure you add this to your list of places to visit in the Hunter! The staff were so friendly and the live music, food and wine were all sensational! We will definitely be back!

One of the most delightful wineries i have been to! A big shoutout to Scott (the bearded bloke) who was really nice and extremely informative of the wines and picked a great sample for us to try. The place is dog and kid friendly and son loved the tasting of 5 x different soft drinks with snacks. Will be going back again and again...

beautiful winery! this was the first place we visited while we were on a wine tour and it was our favourite. the white wines (but especially the wild white and butrytis semillon) were delicious and the selection of reds are fantastic too. pauline was really sweet and patiently answered all our questions. i can’t wait to revisit in the future, thank you for a great experience!

I can not tell you what a pleasure it was to not only visit and enjoy Saddler’s Creek Wines, but to experience their customer service over the past two months.Back in September we visited Saddler’s Creek as the last stop on our wine tour with Chef Jimmy (an amazing experience where he pairs food he cooks from fish market with the wines offered at the wineries). The grounds are gorgeous, and everything has a charm and winery elegant sort of vibe. We sat under their covered porch, and Scott walked us through their wines. While all the wine's we tasted were good, the reserves were unbelievably good. The Maria Reserve Chardonnay has a delightful combination of fresh fruit and a nice butter toasted note. The reds by contrast were delightfully jammy, bursting with fruit, and well balanced oaked notes. A surprise was their Wild White, a unique blend of Semillon, Riesling, Arneis and Fiano sourced from the Hunter Valley and Clare Valley regions. The resulting wine had an amazingly well balanced mouthfeel, a bright pop of tropical fruits and refreshing citrus. These wines were exactly what we'd been looking for on our tours in both the Barossa and the Hunter, enough so, that I proceeded to buy 2 cases (a mix of Maria Chardonnay, , and Wild White) and freight them back to the states. (plus a bottle of Wild White to enjoy before we left the country). The process of freighting the wine back was fairly easy. We completed the transaction at Saddler's wine room, and then they reached out the shipper with my payment and information. The wine took about 3 weeks to get to me, during which Saddler's team were in contact with me all along the way), and everything was well packed. Unfortunately, we had a little mix up, and instead received more Wild White than Reserve Shiraz. After notifying them, they got back to me relatively quickly, expressing their apologies for the mix up.Due to events in my personal life, I unfortunately wasn't able to regularly communicate with them, but they were wonderfully patient with me as we resolved this through October and November. We eventually worked out an amicable solution, in which I'd say they went above and beyond my expectations (and were incredibly friendly doing so).Overall, they're such a pleasure to work with, I can't recommend Saddler's Creek's staff or wines enough. If I ever get back to Australia, I'll definitely plan to go back and visit to get more of their great wine (or if they ever start regularly start shipping to the states I'll have it even sooner!). Cheers to the amazing team there!

A beautiful tasting experience at Saddler’s. Scotty is knowledgeable, witty and generous with his time, the wines are excellent and the grounds tranquil. What more could you want?

Saddler’s Creek hosted my husband’s 60th birthday in their Bluegrass room and made our celebrations an absolutely memorable event.Nothing too much trouble with slight small final changes, the wine amazing, and the food….absolutely spectacular. Hats off to Frank, Wendy, Jonathan, Sam and all the team for a great day!

Just enjoyed an amazing Ribs and Reds master class. The wine and food experience was incredible and the Saddler’s team is knowledgable and welcoming. I’ve been several times but it was my first of many wine and food pairing! Makes sure you check it out

We came with our kids and it was great! The kids tasting platters were so adorable and our kids loved getting to take part in a tasting. I loved how relaxed the whole atmosphere was; live music, kids and dogs and welcome…such a good vibe. I only wish our server was a bit more knowledgeable about the wines but it was still a lovely visit from

We were at Saddler’s Creek for wine tasting and Cathy @Cellar Door was super amazing, she walked us through each and every wine, gave the background, tasting notes and also enough time to understand every wine individually. The whole experience was extremely beautiful. Saddler’s has different tiers of wine from the entry level to premium and the reserve, there is definitely something for everyone. They also organise a live entertainment Friday night event from 5-7 pm with borne-fire and food truck, which was another memorable experience. I would definitely recommend to visit Saddler’s creek wines when you are in Hunter Valley!
