Purity Cake Design

Save yourself the trouble.Cheryl is nice but I don’t pay over $400 for a cake for niceness.The top tier of the cake was completely the wrong colour - making the whole cake look different and she did apologise but only refunded $30 (her reasoning was that the colour it was supposed to be costed $30 more than the colour I got) and did not seem to understand my issue with the $30 refund.I couldn’t have been any clearer about what I wanted - it was all sent in an email with a comprehensive diagram.I got the red velvet flavour and it was terrible and dry. Had also a few friends mention this to me after the night.I appreciate that she apologised for the mistake of the colouring but $30 was not an acceptable refund price, it was not the product I paid for and expected more reimbursement.I have been buying my cakes from purity for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed - Was slightly hesistant when I found out it had changed ownership, turns out this was for good reason.I will never put my business here again.It’s a shame that the quality that I assosciated with the purity name has been tainted.Save yourself the headache and purchase a cake elsewhere, the price does not match the quality and you don’t get what you expect.I’m not even sure the business is legitimate to be honest, with no store front and the picture on google is of the old location.

Very very very disappointed with the lack of customer service. I arranged a time to come in for a consultation and the store was unattended when I arrived. I waited for over an hour and no one ever showed up. I haven't been given a call back to apologise or arrange another time for a consultation. It's incredibly unprofessional and I certainly wouldn't trust Purity Cake Design ever again - I hope you don't either because they have appalling customer service.

Our cake (kids 1st birthday) was missing the bridge (entire piece) as discussed and agreed. No 1 should have been candles and we were quite embarrassed when the actual cake came out and there were 2 little somethings" on the bottom that are I think meant to mean some sort of candles. Writing was quite small and done with a marker through which you could see the pen writing. Lady was very pleasant

Beautiful cake. Tasted amazing, soft and moist. Even did all the cake set up for our wedding. Highly recommended.

In all honesty, I had an incredibly terrible experience with this company but it was due to a complication of misunderstandings and bad timing. I would encourage you to make your own decision if you ever contact them.
