Australia Post - Lidcombe LPO

Got my son's passport lodged. Quick and efficient. Answered my questions. I've lodged at other Post offices before and they always have some excuse to turn you away. If you need to get your passport done quickly do it here.

I have never had to endure the apparent ordeal of collecting parcels or having passport photos taken here, but I have on several occasions stopped here to pay bills or purchase stamps. I experienced no issues with these simple transactions. Five stars for the convenience this place offers.

Not even worth of 1 star. I been to this shop, 'there was only one Asian guy on service counter who dealt with me rudely. Only I have asked him that I am in Australia for more then 1 month and 10 days and I have applied for my bank card and driving license card but I have not received in mail yet. I have checked with bank where bank told me that they have dispatched it and I may check with local post shop if they have any undelivered mail in my name. I only asked this Asian guy on shop to see if there's any undelivered mail in my name, he did not even bother to listen to me. he only said that this shop do not deal with regular mail. they only deal with parcels and couriers. How come?? you are part of Australian Post, so that shouldn't be the case. Even if that is the case, at least he should guide me and advise me where should I go to check further, not just say that to me and move on. Shop was also messy and not very tidy. I wouldn't prefer to go back to this shop again.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I've never had any issues here ever. Maybe because I like to be in and out quickly. Staff are just doing their jobs and I never picked up anything to come off rude. I've used this post office for 6 years.

Want to give my regular post man an amazing review as he is always so friendly, very efficient, professional and always handles our mail with so much care! I live in Lidcombe on Dewrang St. Highly reccomend him.

They act like zombies behind the desk. No emotion, not friendly, annoyed if you ask questions. Honestly why bother working if you hate your job that much?

Lady at the counter was extremely rude, all we asked for was a simple tracking number and she was being very sacrcastic and rolling her eyes constantly, and in the end she didnt even put effort into finding my tracking number, disgusting customer service.

Do go here if you are sure what you are heading for and have no any question. Don't ask any question to them. You will ruin your day in a second. The customer service is so worse that they are rude and don't care anything. Got a slip and went there for pickup but it wasn't there and it was in Villawood. They asked me to call in a number but the number was busy and asked him is there anything I can do to know where my parcel is. He just stared at me like I just ruined his life and replied your parcel is in Villawood that means it is in Villawood it's not here simple. I am not sure why they left a slip to collect from here if they are going to take it to Villawood. Checked few of the reviews with single star and it is all about him :) . It might be because of labour shortage that Aus post have to put these type of people who doesn't care about customer in job or maybe Aus post Lidcombe doesn't care.

The lady on the counter was very rude. I went one day for my parcel and I showed her my photo I’d which I made when I came in Australia for the first time, where location was different. And she asked me what’s your location in a very rude way after that asked me for sign in rude manner. Such a bad service.

My partner just collected parcel on my behalf due to I have a new born child.Guy on the desk (Asian looks) apparently has an attitude and looks like he is tired and sick of his job and has no interest to work.My partner ask him if he could possibly recheck if there’s any more parcel on my name since the 24th of 10 the postman rang our unit and I answered it . I ask him to leave it on lobby as I cannot leave my newborn child he told me he can’t as I needed signature and apparently there’s a lot of parcel under my name which really I only have one parcel .I gave him my full details and explained him I couldn’t go downstair coz my newborn and just leave it to our locker mail of ‘Meriton building ‘ since we always have it delivered there . The delivery Postman normally leave it to our lobby it happened just this parcel he didn’t want to leave it . Some delivery guy is nice some are not .
