Spotlessly clean accomodation with little touches you wouldn’t get anywhere else - like Riedel wine glasses which make all the difference! It includes an outdoor area, kitchen, dining area and even a gas log fire which is a lovely touch on a winter’s night. The accomodation is so professionally run and Michele was lovely and even offered us helpful suggestions and a late check out if we needed, when a local tour company let us down. And you can’t get anymore central in terms of location. We walked home from the Tulleries De Bertoli after dinner there.

Beautifully presented accommodation, perfectly located close to the Rutherglen shops and a very short walk to Rutherglen Estate winery.The accommodation was first class, amazingly clean and all amenities you could need (inc WiFi, a Netflix account, secure space for bikes, bbq facilities...and more).Basq Stays is a perfect location to explore the region.

Delighted with our accommodation. Clean and tidy. Most comfortable beds. En suite in all 3 rooms was perfect. Handy for everything in town. Made to feel welcome by wonderful hosts. Great bbq. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Very stylish and comfortable accommodation, walking distance from the main street. It was perfect for our girls weekend and Michele provided extra special touches. A beautiful space that is quiet with a great 'vibe' for a weekend away in Rutherglen.

I almost don’t want to review this place for fear it’ll become even more popular and become to hard to book into.This is in a perfect location in Rutherglen. You can easily walk or ride everywhere you need to go.Basq is very modern, easy living individual dwellings that has everything you need. Service from the team leading up to and during your stay is excellent.The scenic photos are not actually of Basq but rather the local area.

We (2 couples) stayed in the Robert Jack villa and were not disappointed. Everything is as described and what you would expect for a luxury weekend escape from Melbourne. Each bedroom had its own on-suite which is ideal for 2 couples. The lounge is large and comfortable and plenty of room in the dinning area. There is plenty of space between villa units, so you hardly notice anyone else. And important for some is an instantaneous hot water system (tick), so the last person to shower doesn't have to worry about the possibility of a cold shower.So conveniently located to the center of town that you can walk to cafes/pubs etc.We followed Michele's suggestion to order a gourmet BBQ hamper as we were arriving late on the Friday. Hamper was in the fridge and everything you need for BBQing was there.Thanks to Michele for making it such an enjoyable weekend.

Truly great new space. Not a rustic country place but knowing that it was perfect. Everything is literally brand new and everything simply works. Super clear instructions for all the tech and instant connectivity to beautiful sound, wifi and a Nespresso to help with any dusty heads from Tokays or Muscat’s the night before. It’s a 3 min walk to the town centre for cafes and restaurants and you can throw a stone from the front yard into the award winning de Bortioli Rutherglen Estates cellar door. We thought no pool might be a downside for our 10yo daughter but a quick chat with locals uncovered a lovely river beach at Stanton Bend Road. We swam in the iconic Murray for the first time and it’s a fun adventure driving into the camping and picnic spot. For food lovers a visit to the charming Rob at Gooramadda Olives to sample his globally award winning oils. Ditto Chambers Rosewood Estate. In short, popped in for Elton but fell in love with the region. We will be back for sure!

The unit was more than a home away from home it was beautifully fitted out even had coffee machine. Everything was top of the range. Close to shops and restaurants. Will stay again. N and J

My stay at the Robert Jack villa was absolutely wonderful. The villa was immaculate and gorgeous! The Bluetooth lock was a little tricky but all good in the end.Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
