Chicken Tikka was delicious. Highly recommend.Tried something different for Main Course with Lamb Dhansaak & Keema Bread. Great flavour, very fresh. Very enjoyable meal.

Service was okay but the food was well below average, I love Indian food and I barely touched my meal, it was very watery and lacked flavour ( chicken madras ). My husband ordered the butter chicken and whilst he ate most of it (he was starving), said he wouldn’t get it again. Our rice was a little under done and the naan was unpleasant.Definitely wouldn’t go back, glad it was under $60 for the two of us.

Such a wonderful find in Maleny! Such lovely owners- both with a lovely big smile. Amazing malai koftas, naan and chai. We loved our meal, thank you ❤️

The food may be yummy or not, but they definitely do not have the courtesy to talk to their customers. Extremely rude behaviour and zero hospitality, when a staff told us, You wasted my time. You should have informed me earlier

We have been coming for years as there are not many Indian restaurants that will cater to our ‘no onion, no garlic, vegetarian’ diet. There were were five of us and we all loved our meals. The naan breads are awesome and every dish was flavoursome and delicious. Great service too. Thank you Dawaat!

Very inconsistent. Out of probably a dozen take-away orders, we've had 2 or 3 that were exceptional (earlier last yr), most were just average and a few were completely tasteless.We were hoping the drop in quality was just a blip, and it would get back up to how good it used to be, but that just hasn't happened.Might be time to cut our losses and move on.

Food was amazing and has very rich flavours.Very generous amount of food. Value for money.Only problem was that the wait time..We waited more than an hour for our food to be served.would have given 5 star if it’s not that long.If you are not very hungry and can wait then highly recommend this place.

I believe this restaurant has changed hands. The food tonight was pitiful, sauce looked and tasted like it was from a bottle, not from an actual spice mix. Watery and no flavor. Very disappointing considering the price of a curry is not cheap at around $23.

They have a board outside their restaurant “Best Butter Chicken”. Literally they do make the best butter chicken. It sucks that they are not in Brisbane. My family loved the butter chicken and the Naan the most. The other dishes like malai kofta, mango chicken etc were truly Indian. If you are in and around Maleny and you feel like having Indian food for dinner, definitely check this place out. I wish I could give 10stars.ThanksManish

Daawat is delicious! Hubby and I ended up stuck in Maleny for dinner during a lockdown and boy are we glad we came here! It’s super tasty and really good value for money. The servings are very generous (the naan is HUGE!).If we pass through, this will be our go to place, highly recommended!!
