One of the best seafood platters around! We just made it in time before the lunchtime kitchen closed and we are so grateful we did. We ordered the Seafood Platter which was presented in a tower with a hot platter on top containing tempura scallops, grilled king prawns, grilled flathead and lemon peppered calamari. The cold platter on the bottom had oysters, prawns, salmon and Moreton Bay Bugs. On the side was a serve of chips and salad. We were hungry upon arrival here but we seriously had no chance of finishing this! Everything was cooked to perfection (that wasn’t cold) and the cold platter was super tasty (in particular the oysters and the bugs). We were one of the last tables to finish our lunch so hard to describe the ambiance but the staff that we met were extremely helpful.Would definitely recommend!

10 out of 10, the best meal I've ever had amazing and friendly staff. The BBQ pork ribs are a must try item here. Keep up the amazing work!

Wasn't the ambiance I was expecting. Pub come school lunch room. Big screen TV and harsh lighting. Popular and busy though. We (2) had the $150 seafood tower (which we paid an extra $25 public holiday loading) =$175. No problem. (Special occasion) About 15 - 20 minutes later (no time at all) our meal was plonked by a waitress that struggled to carry it. Then she walked away. We sat there for a minute looking at the massive tower of delicious seafood perplexed. For $175 we expected a spiel. Good evening

The selections of the menu were great. I had a BBQ pork rib and the meat was so tender. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would love to come back again!

A very congested and busy establishment. Staff seemed to be run off their feet. Waited a very long time for our food and it was a little hit and miss. Chicken schnitzel was pretty good and enjoyable however a couple seafood dishes were below par for what we paid. Flathead fillets dry, flavourlous and excessively battered. The salt and pepper squid/calamari lacked flavour and accompanied with a salad that just had all the wrong flavours. Like to think they can do better as previously they have been. All in all it's a beachside pub and you'd imagine their seafood dishes would be well above average. Location is convenient however book well ahead of time.

Nice enough place because it was quiet , but for $52 for porterhouse steak I expected more. Steak wasn’t tender at all I ordered medium rare. Chips in basket were pale and cold . Tiny salad was average.

It’s a mighty fine pub experience. The meals here would put many a city and regional pub to shame. Great quality and very decent size. We had the seafood board and the flathead fillets. Both were excellent. The seafood board was heaving with great seafood. The flathead fillets were most tidy as well. Tasty and very nicely composed, cooked and presented the lot. We liked the dining space here too. Nice vibe. Staff were good too. It’s a very respectable pub experience. Recommended.

Nice pub, open plan Bistro style. Get your own drinks at bar, order meals and brought to table. Food is good - flat head nice generous servings - prawn spring rolls tasty but ours served a little charred. Staff are mostly friendly - esp the hosting chick. One bar staff member could use a little repartee training. Chips, veges and salads all extra costs eg: $7.50 for each and the serve of chips will help you lose weight. Haloumi entree tasty and well made (photo here looks like we killed it) - haloumi tasty withoutvthe sauce. Chips were nice though but not served with the promised tommy sauce which when asked for came in squeegie pack. Very busy place so I am sure the owners are happy. Generally prices are pushing the envelope $30-40, eg: 250 g steak $48, so add the sides and drinks and you can do the maths. Been here several times, Invy only has two pubs, but some good restaurants in Invy too. Open plan format is not inviting but functional and does cater for the numbers needed.

Good food & fast service. They have a good bar with a small cocktail list and few beers on tap. The food portions are pub style and generous. They also have some gluten free and dairy free options available across the menu. We absolutely loved their cheesy garlic bread and their home made sticky date pudding
