Worst place to join in brisbane.I ask them to stop my membership due to some injury in lower back and after 7 months they start deducting money and when i ask for refund they said they can not refund my money.And when i ask them that i will not pay further for that then the lady there said we will put you in bad credit history. Even i don’t think they deserve one star.

It’s clear the franchisee doesn’t want to spend any money… old, outdated, equipment in poor condition with many of the basic machines not even installed. Desperately needs a facelift and an injection of money and love.

Interesting snap, alot of old equipment, the dumbell and bench I used were both broken. No access to the TRX, kettle bells, ropes/cardio area unless you switch your membership to that gym which is quite dissapointing as snap is supposed to be all access, I understand a value add of a sauna or something but access to basic gym equipment should always be available. The staff seem good which give it an extra star. Apparently it may be getting renovated this year. I recommend going to another snap within the area until this is completed.

I called them to enquire about gym fees and was added to the marketing and communication database. Very unethical.

I recently switched my gym membership from anytime fitness to snap. The manager at Clayfield has so far been awesome. I’ve never had someone be so welcoming and friendly at a gym in the 6 years I’ve trained. She was quick to show me around and assist with anything I needed. She showed genuine interest in my training program and is all around friendly.The equipment and layout is already a huge positive compared to anytime fitness, and there’s no lock in contract. I’m so glad I switched over!

Get back to me about cancelling my membership. I can't attend the gym in person to do so, there has to be another way.It's about time the gyms were harder regulated for this dodgy and convoluted means of scamming people.Cancelling should be possible over the phone (if they even answer - which they don't) but no it requires a face to face meeting, a pint of blood, your first born, and a months notice. It's ridiculous

Highly recommend staying away from these people, they are extremely greedy and a pack of thieves. Payed $200 for coaching sessions with one of the licensed gym instructors,which I never received, and they refuse to reimburse. On top of that they tried illegally charging my card, despite canceling my membership, had to call the bank to block any further transactions. Now trying to charge me over $110 for membership that has not been used in months and was canceled. Very poor form from a “legitimate” business

Edited - I update my review to be a one star. I made a mark in the filth on one of the machines 3 months ago. That mark is still visible. Meaning nothing has been properly cleaned in 3 months! Mirrors have been broken for months. All the cables barely work they are so filthy and never serviced. Machines broken for weeks and weeks. Surely this place is now becoming a health hazard!Ok place to train, gets the job done I guess. Is always very hot as the air conditioner seems to be rubbish and there is a thick layer of grime on all the equipment like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in years. Lots of broken things. But as I said, average gym that gets job done. Use my anytime fitness membership more. Top of the range equipment, working air con and always very clean.
