Best Barramundi I’ve ever had!I had the pleasure to get a free tour through rods barra farm.I had no pre-knowledge about aqua farming, but after a few minutes, rod caught my interested. He’s a great speaker and teacher! Therefore, I learned a lot interesting and cool stuff about fish and especially barras !Working with the fish and being a part of his passion really helpedto get deeply into the topic. Thanks for a great experience! Will definitely come back one day!

Rodney gave us a tour of the Barra farm. What a great experience. He was so accommodating and friendly our two young children had a blast getting to flick a lure in the dam and get to help feed the fish in the ponds. Highly recommended.

We visited Barron River Barramundi as a family with our 2 children 9, and 6 years old. We spent an interesting and relaxing few hours there with Rod showing us the property and the production system. It's a beautiful spot on the river, and the kids loved being there. The tour of the ponds was very informative and engaging.Rod's is a great guy with an impressive breadth of experience in conservation and sustainable food production. His depth of knowledge of All Things Aquaponic-related is only matched by his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge. To cap off the experience, the barramundi are amazingly sweet and delicious!Highly recommended to anyone with any interest in aquaculture, aquaponics, food production, ecology, conservation or delicious fish

This farm visit was a hugely educational and fun experience for our family.Rod's tour was really informative and he spent time showing us the sustainable workings of the farm, answering all our questions and investing in our (homeschooled) children. The fish put on a show for us! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with Rodney on his Barron River Barramundi farm. We also had the opportunity to help with the weekly harvesting of barramundi from one of the ponds, as well as feeding the fish & baby fish and was rewarded with a great show from the happy fish :)The barramundi on the barbie that night was another great treat!Rodney has an extensive knowledge about aquaponics, sustainability and his passion for doing it all organically, will surely make this the best barramundi farm you can visit.

What a stunning and beautiful place. We arrived and were immediately included in the catching of fish as it was a Wednesday which is the week day when fish are harvested. Later on we walked around the entire premises including a walk down to the Baron River where our kids went swimming as it was a hot day.Rod is a fantastic host and we spent the late afternoon having a Baramundi BBQ while he told us about his ideas of what the place will offer in the future as it becomes more established. Also don't forget to ask Rod about some of his his experiences while working in PNG - you'll not be disappointed! All in all a great place to spend a few hours or a day. There is also camping available including a working toilet so even a longer stay is highly recommended.
